Sanders Would Replace Obamacare With BernieCare
Unlike Republicans, who want to “repeal and replace” Obamacare, Bernie Sanders has something to “replace” it with.
It’s called the “single-payer” plan, loosely modeled on how health care is financed in Canada and most of Western Europe.
Basically it means putting almost all the $3.2 trillion-a-year U.S. health care system in the hands of the federal government, with states acting as administrative subcontractors.
Currently, government at all levels pays about half of the nation’s health care bill.
Clinton accuses Sanders of wanting to “eliminate” popular programs such Medicare and Medicaid, which cover about one-third of Americans. She also contends Sanders would ditch President Barack Obama’s health law.
Actually Sanders would incorporate those programs into the new system, promising that patients would have no gaps in coverage.
What would be eliminated would be things such as insurance premiums, deductibles and copays. In their place would be taxes, something else that few like.

Universal HC is something both Hillary and Obama pushed for, yet the right said NO! Without the 2 houses it can not be done…

>:) Now if I was in Obama’s position and I wanted universal health care, I know exactly what I would have done. I would have invited people who have benefited from V.A., Medicaid, and Medicare to share their stories. I would have invited people who suffer because they can’t afford health care or watched loved ones struggle because of it. (I know he did this to a certain extent, but he caved too quickly.)
I would have given them the microphones and had the camera rolling. I would have it broadcast 24/7. If I could find people willing to “testify” if you will to these S.O.B.’s, I would pay for the costs to send them to their office. I would have reality stare them straight in the face until they finally relented.
Republicans are capable of feeling caring. But I find that until it personally effects them, it’s harder for them to feel empathy. It’s a lot harder to look at say a cancer victim’s face and say, “Sorry you don’t deserve health care,” than to give a speech on the floor. It’s like that Senator was against LGBT rights, until he found out his son was gay.

I know there were some. But I mean send them right to their office, in their damn faces. Sure, they’ll have them escorted out, but get the reaction on camera. Better yet send as may people as can fit inside Congress.

When I check in here, there usually isn’t much traffic ;/. I’ve been to the Hill a couple times. It’s crazier than Politico used to be. Glad you have been great. Lol the family is a long story, but it’s better than it was before.

Well it’s pretty much confirmed she has lost most of her hearing in one ear, but otherwise it’s quite the miracle of a recovery. I’m okay health wise. ^_^ I”m getting a second interview at this one place, so I think I”ll get this job.

Regardless of all the happy talk, I still cannot afford the 20 per cent co-pay, and the deductibles…not on SSDI…the sixty mile round trip to the doctors’ eats up any co-pay…the “billing depts.” don’t care if ya can pay or not…they go after ya like they were a corporation…the rules have been rigged in their favor, and unless ya have cash, ya still can’t access the system…

With single-payer medicare there would be no co-pays or any amount out of pocket. The Insurance industry, the corporate Hospital Industry and the like will be completely re-structured and have needed to be for 100 yrs now!
