Florida Congresswoman and DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is speaking out after the Planned Parenthood attack.

“We don’t know all of the details about this particular incident, but we do know that our national epidemic of gun violence must be addressed,” Wasserman Schlultz said in a statement Saturday.

“We must recommit to ensuring our communities are safe from these all-too-common acts of gun violence, which have claimed the lives of over ten thousand of our fellow Americans every single year since 2000,” she added.

32% of American households own guns. 84% of gunowner households want mandatory background checks on every gun sold, including the 40% of guns sold that evade background checks via private-sellers, gunshow loopholes, online, and crooked FFL’s selling guns & ammo to federally barred: felons, dishonorably discharged veterans, DHS watchlisted terrorist suspects, foreigners, those under indictment, or judicial restraining orders and legally adjudicated mental incompetents.

Stop telling your lies. One hundred percent of all gun owners already know that background checks are a requirement, a Federal law in fact.

She offered nothing as usual. Nice words, crafted to sound like she cares but no substance. If you feel strongly Debbie how about presenting a bill with some content. Full background checks, waiting period, etc. The only thing I heard out of your mouth was blah, blah, blah, blah. You made your holiday speech now go back to the Clintons and do what you normally do…..Nothing.

She can’t, she is no longer an elected official. Former congress person and now DNC chair.

      • lynchie November 28th, 2015 at 23:25

What are you talking about she is still a member of the House and represents Florida because she is head of DNC does not mean she gives up voting in the House. Get a grip

        • tracey marie November 28th, 2015 at 23:26

I was wrong she is still a congress person…how many times do the dems introduce bills that never get debated. You are wrong

because I was running errands, then asleep. When I woke at 2am it was approved. Moderators volunteer their time and hold full time jobs in the real world. If you want to be sure your post shows immediately; be sure to use no words the filter will catch, don’t make it too lengthy, and don’t use external links.

The home grown terrorist group known as the NRA keeps it’s firm grip on 2nd Amendment “rights”. This is the excuse for thousands of people dying each year due to gun violence and lax laws. No action taken after Sandy Hook convinced me that any responsible gun legislation might be dead in the water for many years to come…

Till I saw the draft that was of 8368 dollars, I accept that my friend’s brother was like really generating cash in his free time with his pc. . His aunt’s neighbor has done this for only 8 months and by now repaid the loan on their home and bought a new Car .Why not try this. aaq…

      • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou November 29th, 2015 at 13:59

No. I’m simply stating that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is completely useless.

Democratic candidates are regularly getting their behinds handed to them, and she’s at the wheel of the party.
