Trump On Torture: ‘If It Doesn’t Work, They Deserve It Anyway’

The Donald pledges to bring back waterboarding if he’s elected, and doesn’t care if it’s effective.

Trump said Monday he not only would bring back waterboarding, the controversial interrogation technique discontinued by the Obama administration, but also would “approve more than that,” even if such tactics prove ineffective.

“Would I approve waterboarding? You bet your ass I would — in a heartbeat,” Trump said to loud cheers during a rally at a convention center here Monday night that attracted thousands. “And I would approve more than that. Don’t kid yourself, folks. It works, okay? It works. Only a stupid person would say it doesn’t work…

“It works,” Trump said over and over again. “Believe me, it works. And you know what? If it doesn’t work, they deserve it anyway, for what they’re doing. It works.”

Effective leadership provided by the Donald. He won’t have to build a wall. Keep this up and no one in their right mind would ever want to visit or come to the U. S. I can just see the immigration folks waterboarding all visitors and pulling the fingernails of anyone who doesn’t wear a Make America Great Again ball cap.

He’s just saying what the goobers in the audience want to hear.

I’m speechless. A Fascist platform out loud in the open?

his base is cheering the idea of torture and even if it’s not the “right” person that’s being tortured and this is being recorded. unlike the lie he told about seeing muslims in NJ cheering the death of innocent people.

The only thing really accomplished by waterboarding and other torture techniques was it ensured the lives of our military members were put in more jeopardy than before. Who expected anything more from this person?
