It appears that almost all congress critters like to travel on the tax payers dime.

    • NIGHTWATCH ABCP ........ November 18th, 2015 at 10:14

YA THINK ???? These ‘travels’ are called ConDels/StaffDels or by their TRUE (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) name – ‘fact-finding’ missions/tours …………..

  2. Buford2k11 November 18th, 2015 at 08:06

the stench of corruption follows them everywhere, and Europe will not make it better…

” new congressional delegation to Italy and other European destinations.”
Well I suppose if Bush can invade the wrong country, these idiots can conduct their investigation on the wrong continent.

    • rg9rts November 18th, 2015 at 08:41

Think they’ll go to Libya too??

      • William November 18th, 2015 at 08:47

No, it’s separated from Italy by an ocean, AND it has them thar’ moo-slims.
My guess is they will be found at some of the more popular sleeze locations like the reeperbahn in Hamburg or the red light district in Amsterdam. Those places are pretty much beer soaked sex-for-sale fandangos.
        er…..um…
        so I’ve been told.

        • rg9rts November 18th, 2015 at 09:52

I wouldn’t know either…maybe we can wangle an exploratory trip?? Ya think ??

  5. rg9rts November 18th, 2015 at 08:40

Why are these thieves even in business??

    • Obewon November 18th, 2015 at 08:56

Because flyover country voted, but not many others. The last time voter turnout was so low during a midterm cycle was in 1942, when voters were deployed after war was declared following Pearl Harbor 12/7/1941. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2014/11/10/voter-turnout-in-2014-was-the-lowest-since-wwii/

    • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou November 18th, 2015 at 08:56

Because retarded, inbred, beer-swilling, racist, redneck morans have access to a ballot.

      • rg9rts November 18th, 2015 at 09:50

        I asked

        • Hirightnow November 18th, 2015 at 10:14

          Yes.
          Yes you did.

      • Hirightnow November 18th, 2015 at 09:50

As a beer-swilling redneck moron, I take partial exception to that remark.
(But not having access to a ballot {felon}, I guess I can’t complain)

Us citizens are easy to fleece apparently.

  6. MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou November 18th, 2015 at 08:55

Ah, ye olde “fact-finding” (wink wink, nudge nudge) mission.
In this age of cellphones, drones, digital cameras, web-conferencing, email, etcetera, etcetera, there is precisely zero reason for all of these jagaloons to physically go over there.

    • NIGHTWATCH ABCP ........ November 18th, 2015 at 10:09

HOW CONVENIENT !!! With Christmas just AROUND the corner, no less. When I was stationed at Hq USAFE (Ramstein AB, FRG), these ConDels/StaffDels (yes, ALWAYS ‘fact-finding’ tours) were a JOKE. No sooner when the Command Briefings were finished, these “fact-finders’ were OFF the ‘yard’ for some “fact-finding” SHOPPING ‘on the economy’ at the TAXPAYER’S expense. It drove our Protocol Section people NUTS trying to cater to these ‘politicians’ and their every whim ……

    • Suzanne McFly November 18th, 2015 at 11:16

Yeah, I would love to hear how many prostitutes will need to be interviewed during this ‘fact finding’ mission.

      • NIGHTWATCH ABCP ........ November 18th, 2015 at 12:15

They are NOT prostitutes but ‘recreation’ ladies/gentlemen ……..

    • StoneyCurtisll November 18th, 2015 at 11:30

      Exactly.

  12. StoneyCurtisll November 18th, 2015 at 11:41

Just what is it that they hope to ‘fact find” in Europe that they couldn’t get during one of those many hearings?

    • tracey marie November 18th, 2015 at 11:57

      real Italian food and wine.

  13. Bunya November 18th, 2015 at 13:55

More taxpayer money well spent! Let’s hope it costs as much as the oh-so-important blow job the GOP was investigating back in the ’90’s.

  14. Gina Bousquet November 18th, 2015 at 14:12
