The silly season has begun, more appropriatly it should be called the season of division and fear. Operation “wetback”, calves the size of cantelopes for carrying drugs into the country, a huge wall building pledge that the AMexicans will pay for, killers, rapists, and other such nonsense….

what is wrong with the right that all they have to pedal is fear and bigotry.

And yet there is silence about the employees that hire these folks.

A good example how to skirt the system is the company called ManPower. They are a temp company.

The temp system insulates the host companies from workers’ compensation claims, unemployment taxes, union drives and the duty to ensure that their workers are citizens or legal immigrants. In turn, the temps suffer high injury rates, according to federal officials and academic studies, and many of them endure hours of unpaid waiting and face fees that depress their pay below minimum wage.

The rise of the blue-collar permatemp helps explain one of the most troubling aspects of the phlegmatic recovery. Despite a soaring stock market and steady economic growth, many workers are returning to temporary or part-time jobs. This trend is intensifying America’s decades-long rise in income inequality, in which low- and middle-income workers have seen their real wages stagnate or decline. On average, temps earn 25 percent less than permanent workers.

Legal slavery is big business. ManPower can use business models developed in the Middle East. I cannot imagine what happens when – finally – consumption is driven downm as the working and middle classes have their standard of living eroded. We bought ourselves some time by creating a large upper middle class that engages in hyper-consumption which has boosted the production of upscale and luxury goods.

What is the point of a society if it screws over the majority?

With legal and illegal Hispanics in America, how
can you tell the difference? this means if Trump
or the GOP have their way, any guy walking on
the street who is even remotely brown can end up
with armed cops tapping them on the shoulder
to ask for their papers and passport, and if
they forget to take them and can’t prove they are
a citizen they could be shipped to the middle of
    a Mexican desert!
