Hillary: Reclassify Marijuana

The event, hosted by the Legislative Black Caucus at Claflin University, let Clinton respond to frustrations from African-American voters over an economic recovery that has so far disproportionately passed over poor, minority neighborhoods.The former secretary of State also said she supports moving marijuana off the list of schedule 1 drugs — a designation that bars federally funded research of the drug.
“We haven’t done research. Why? Because it’s considered a schedule 1 drug,” Clinton said.
“I’d like to move it from schedule 1 to schedule 2.”

Again, Hillary is a day late and a dollar short on an issue. Bernie is way ahead of her on the issues that really count.

The US has been studying Cannabis for well over 100 years. Still haven’t found anything seriously dangerous about it.
But she’s right about taking it off Schedule One.
