You too underestimated her…but that was the 60’s and no one dreamed of a woman president unless it was science fiction

      • anothertoothpick November 8th, 2015 at 17:11

Not really. In the yearbook her pix or name is on at least a dozen different pages. Club this…club that…honors this ….honors that.

On the other hand my pix was on one page. Homeroom, and I am actually surprised I even showed up for that.

        • rg9rts November 8th, 2015 at 17:19

Why didn’t you keep in touch when she was first lady of Arkansas ??

          LOL hind sight is 20/10

You know how life is, families move apart blah blah. Actually I hung out more with her brother. And, for some reason, she declined to hang out, drinking beer, playing pocker and smoking cigarettes in the basement.

I did get her at the end of the school year to sign my yearbook though along with a couple hundred other classmates. Now if she wins the White house I would love to get her to sign it. HILLARY RODAM CLINTON FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

wow….sounds like she really broke your heart there….divorce does that to people and it’s expensive….they compensate by wanting what ever it is they think the other has to feel better….hopefully no children were harmed in the misadventure…;)

                  • rg9rts November 8th, 2015 at 16:48

That was the part that hurt… rather than being 10 years younger than me she was almost 10 years older…and denied me the opportunity to have a child..

                    • maggie November 8th, 2015 at 18:11

there’s always adoption…foster care…etc..if you have the set up for it….and really the desire…

oh well…I wouldn’t feel too bad dysfunctional family relationships are normal it’s a matter of degree…;)

  3. maggie November 7th, 2015 at 20:05

well she would be hawkish in a different way…she’s been senator of a state that’s been attacked by foreign terrorists…she’s been secretary of state….she should be hawkish on human rights and girls rights around the globe…and I am sure she will use all her diplomatic skill to reduce conflict if possible rather than conflate it….and I am sure she has and will bring in the best team for this…;)

    • GreatLakeSailor November 7th, 2015 at 22:19

…I am sure she will use all her diplomatic skill to reduce conflict if possible rather than conflate it…

Really!? So Iraq war vote was just an anomaly? And Libya? And running Libya’s guns to Syria to stoke civil war? And now escalating in Syria? And sabre rattling about Iran? Yeah…and by yeah I mean no.

      • maggie November 7th, 2015 at 23:16

well you can disagree….GLS…..have a great day ;)

      • rg9rts November 8th, 2015 at 15:18

And who wasn’t part of the stampede because no one believed that the POTUS would be so stupid…shame on you for fooling us once to the tune of Trillions of dollars and thousands of lives…Murder Inc had an agenda they put over everyone …you too probably…don’t be so sanctimonious

        • GreatLakeSailor November 8th, 2015 at 15:34

Punctuation please. I mean beyond repeated use of ellipses.

I think you are suggesting that I was pro-Iraq war. I’m curious on what you base that assertion.

          • rg9rts November 8th, 2015 at 15:44

I have my masters and don’t need no punctaion/ …

          • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 17:06

You’re gullible enough to be a Bush voter, I’d say that’s what he was suggesting. I know I am suggesting so.

            • GreatLakeSailor November 8th, 2015 at 17:50

              A Bushy?? A fascist?? Really??
              Check your compass there Corrigan.

Gullible – What statements in my original comment are afactual? In what way have I been duped, am I gullible?

So let’s unpack your calculus: I want to surmise future actions by the good Secretary based on past actions therefore something, something GLS must be a Bush voter. That passes for logic to you!?

              That’s blind partisanship.

            • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 20:28

exfuckinactly! they will throw hil in there everytime about the iraq war as if it was she who was the determining factor that brought it about. nevermind, the entire country believed what we were being told. when in fact bushy and dick were knowingly lying their greedy asses off.

      • epazote November 8th, 2015 at 19:57

Victoria Nuland, former security advisor to Dick Cheney, and the wife of PNAC co-founder was brought to the US Dept of State by Hillary Clinton to oversee/manage the coup in Ukraine
Then there’s the 2009 coup in Honduras that ousted democratically elected Manuel Zelaya and re-installed the extreme far right wing, land owning scions of European “settlers” for the benefit of transnational corporations
        then Haiti
recently leaked documents confirm the US State dept under Clinton’s authority meddled in national elections to place Martelly in the office of President…again, for the benefit of transnational corporations

      • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 19:26

who brought this lie to the table to go to war?

        • GreatLakeSailor November 8th, 2015 at 19:30

To which of the wars I mentioned do you refer?

        • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 19:33

They are Bernie’s voters, It’s not Iraq they are highlighting…

          • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 20:01

but, it is iraq that they brought to the table as if it was hil’s decision. i’m perfectly fine if they are bernie’s supporters, i get that. but, to disagree on, lets say her policies, fine, but to attempt to discredit her based on that is ridiculous.

            • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 20:06

I’m not comfortable with it. It’s the first time I suppose that Bernie’s and Hillary’s voters have a confrontation on the site. They actually deeply disagree with the US foreign policy as a whole. She was in charge of it as SS.

              • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 20:12

she was not SOS when the iraq war happened. and i don’t like it either when supporters of hil and bernie are in confrontation. as a matter of fact i really like bernie.

                • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 20:17

Yes whatthe, I like Bernie very much too. But there are issues between the two candidates. Bernie supporters reject so deeply US foreign policy they cannot accept Hillary’s tenure as SOS. It’s not so much about the vote for war in Iraq.

                  • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 20:45

but at the same time, they will speak to the issue of iraq and her agreeing with the invasion. she, like all others not in the loop, was sold on a lie. repukes bring this issue up every single time as if it were she who made the final decision and as if she knew it was a war based on lies. it matters not if they disagree with her policies, what matters is laying blame where it doesn’t belong. and there will always be issues between candidates, but in the end we are all on the same side, so i don’t like the bashing. especially between these two.

                    • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 20:51

I feel terribly uncomfortable. I don’t think they really mind her vote for the Iraqi war, for all the reasons you mentioned. It’s her role in American foreign policy what they object. It’s really deeper whatthe, they deny qualities to her.

                    • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 20:53

i completely agree with your stance on feeling uncomfortable. because i am too.

                    • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 21:18

This is very hard, a bit like a very serious disagreement among friends.

                    • whatthe46 November 8th, 2015 at 21:33

                      you’re absolutely right.

                    • Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 21:35

What a surprising evening whatthe. I’ll have to say good night now, still have chores and it’s time to sleep. See you tomorrow dear :)

I would love to see a listing of all the labels that the gopee has stuck on her…I’ll bet that they called her a dove too….stop the name calling…leave that to the gopee circus train

    • Warman1138 November 8th, 2015 at 19:11

The latest one is ”she’s corrupt”, previously it was. ”she’s a liar”, I don’t know what the next catchphrase will be, only that it will be at least equally, pathetic.

  5. GreatLakeSailor November 8th, 2015 at 19:13

    Spot on.
Damnation, I am tire of that crap.

  6. Gina Bousquet November 8th, 2015 at 19:39

Hi friend! I suppose she was in charge of defending US interests, that’s the mission of Secretaries of State. I think as South Americans we know what it usually means.
