Pastor Loses Supporters After Starring In Gun Control Doc

Rob Schenck is an evangelical who is pro-life and anti-gun.

Schenck says his base of supporters has gone down since he starred in the new documentary “Armor of Light” as coming out for gun control and against the NRA.

“I did have supporters who announced that because I had taken on this issue they won’t make any more contributions and they won’t stand with me,” said Schenck, who lives in Washington, DC, during a Q&A for the film at MoMA. “We registered about a 10 percent decline. We’ve had some surprising responses, some people who said ‘I’m with you.’ At this point, most are not willing to say that publicly.”

He says most are not willing to show support publicly. What a bunch of gutless voters we have in this country.

A very intriguing question. He died on the cross and after a three day waiting period he came back packing iron and an attitude. lol (mandatory three-day waiting period, excluding weekends and legal holidays, between the retail purchase and delivery of any handgun.)
So much for turn the other cheek, like the rest of us, Jesus was a hypocrite. lol

Why does he need contributions, doesn’t the tax free national church have plenty of money to pay salaries and upkeep?

I applaud one of the few consistent “pro-life” pastors. If you’re gonna say you’re pro-life, that should apply throughout the whole life, right?
