RNC Member: Disease In Schools Caused By Socialism

Posted by | October 29, 2015 19:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Iowa Republican National Committee member Tamara Scott says it isn’t refusal to have vaccines that cause disease in schools, it’s socialism.

Scott spoke with Elaine Dannemann, the proprietor of the “Vaccine Liberation Army” website who has said that she is in a primordial, cosmic war” against vaccines, about a new California law that requires daycare workers to be vaccinated against measles and whooping cough.

Scott was outraged, saying that the real health problem in schools is socialism and that the best thing you can do for your children’s health is to take them out of public schools.

“The schools are some of the germiest places you’ll ever be around,” she said. “They’ve gone to this socialistic teaching where you no longer have your own pencils you’re responsible for so you can learn how to take care of things and be a good steward; it’s all socialistic in the middle of the table, you’re all facing each other, handling each other’s things. And the schools, yet, when my kids were in school, kept wondering why they kept having all the issues with strep throat and all the issues with all these childhood illnesses continually happening. Because it’s the new way they’re doing school in the classroom. So, if you want to keep your kid healthy, take them out of public school. It will help them mentally, emotionally, academically and now, physically, it would help them as well.”

Of course public schools are full of germs. Germs are everywhere! And healthy kids have an immune system that fights the germs. From the moment they leave the womb, kids are covered in germs. But most of them do just fine. Both of these women need a biology class.

Kids have been little mobile incubators forever. They’ve always been sharing pencils, books, cups, food, snotty handshakes and everything else. That’s what kids do. When my kids were in school they caught the usual things and if they happened to be exposed to strep, whether they got it or not, I did. Those little bacteria would jump straight to my tonsils. This woman is out of her mind to make her antivax insanity a political thing.

      Dirt is good

      • majii October 29th, 2015 at 23:52

Correct. I’ve read that protecting kids from all germs is not such a good thing for their immune systems, just like many pediatricians today don’t like giving kids too many antibiotics, except in cases of serious diseases/illnesses.

I think she is getting pencils confused with a penis. Also she is thinking of social diseases, not Socialism. lol

    Mary: Thank you, Doctor.
Dr: Mary, I’ve been going over your tests. How did a nice girl like you… come to contract a social disease?
Mary: Then my worst fears are confirmed. Oh, the shame of it! [Sobbing]
Dr: Now, now. You are unclean, but there’s always hope. Tell me how you went astray.

oh brother…while I do support parents researching vaccines beyond the pharmaceutical pamphlets, public education is socialism…what a dunce this RWNJ is…..;)

Translation: “Why am I an expert on disease transmission? Because when you start from the premise that anything the government promotes is evil, then God allows me to make as many crazy accusations as I want. Home schooling rules!”

If you want an evening of interesting reading, here’s more crazy about Tamara Scott:

      Wow!

      http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/alveda-king-planned-parenthood-gives-women-breast-cancer-so-they-will-donate-susan-g-komen

Alveda King, a Fox News contributor and the director of African-American outreach for Priests for Life, managed to combine a dizzying number of anti-abortion conspiracy theories in an interview with Iowa religious right activist Tamara Scott last month, claiming that Planned Parenthood uses birth control to give African-American women breast cancer so that they will then donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which in turn provides breast-cancer screening grants to Planned Parenthood.

That is Homer Simpson level diabolical. lol

Homer Simpson: Okay, boy. This is where all the hard work, sacrifice, and painful scaldings pay off.
Employee: Four pounds of grease… that comes to… sixty-three cents.
      Homer Simpson: Woo-hoo!
Bart Simpson: Dad, all that bacon cost twenty-seven dollars.
Homer Simpson: Yeah, but your mom paid for that!
Bart Simpson: But doesn’t she get her money from you?
Homer Simpson: And I get my money from grease! What’s the problem?

Thanks for the link! I didn’t think anybody could be either that crazy or completely steeped in Teabaggery, but once again, I have underestimated the GOP and gaggle of idiots.

We seem to be unable to depend upon the public school system to turn out mindless fascists

  12. Foundryman October 29th, 2015 at 21:38

I wish they would take their kids out of our schools. I’d rather my grandkids not be around brainwashed diseased right wing nuts and their kids plus, having a real education and being vaccinated against disease will be a big advantage vs. showing they were home schooled on their resume’.

    • arc99 October 29th, 2015 at 21:40

      a-friggin-men

I do not have children of school age. But if I did, under no circumstances would I want them exposed to this kind of profoundly mind-numbing ignorance.

may want to take a bottle of A-1 with you, just in case you get hungry. No reason to let good meat go to waste – that’d dang near be a sin.

While I’m not an epidemiologist, I think I am on pretty safe ground when I say that diseases don’t work like that. Especially since prophylaxis would be the liberal application of earplugs.

  18. liberalMD October 30th, 2015 at 05:52

This lady needs to stop watching soap operas all day long and get out of the house. The reason some schools have gone to communal supplies is that in many classrooms the majority of the students’ families are so poor they can hardly keep the heat on in the house and keep food on the table, much less afford school supplies. The communal supplies at school attempts to prevent the segregation of students into the “haves” and the “don’t haves”. She should consider volunteering at the nearest public school one or two days a week.

    • Dwendt44 October 30th, 2015 at 11:27

I’ve looked at the list of school supplies grade students are asked to have at the beginning of classes. Way more stuff than they should need. A dozen pencils? Several folders and other things I never used when I was in grade school.

You want to see socialism at its best and endorsed and loved by the 1%? Look no further than the NFL.

  20. Suzanne McFly October 30th, 2015 at 10:12

Schools are thee ‘germiest’ places? Is ‘germiest’ even a word? Has this tool ever been in a school? We constantly disinfect every thing, we work there just as the kids go to school there. I don’t want to work in an unclean classroom anymore than I want students in an unclean classroom. Not to mention we have hand sanitizer everywhere, this person is ignorant and it is showing.
