Courtney Wilson and Taylor Guerrero were on vacation in Hawaii in March of this year, and while they were in Foodland doing some shopping, they happened to be holding hands and kissing. In other words, they were doing what many couples do, but since they were both women, that was a problem for an off-duty police officer who was also in the grocery store.

Officer Bobby Harrison, Wilson and Guerreo allege, harassed and eventually arrested them. Harrison also allegedly told themnot to show public affection for each other and to “take it somewhere else.”

As you might expect, the two women ignored Harrison and continued to hold hands and touch each other as they shopped, which led to Officer Harrison stepping way over the line and confronting the couple as they were at the register to check out. Wilson attempted to call 911, but Harrison grabbed her by the arm and then proceeded to throw both women to the ground….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

They did nothing illegal, that cop should be in jail for assault.

off duty, he would have gotten the piss slapped out of him if it were me if he had laid one hand on me. especially since kissing in public is not a criminal offense.

Assault and battery was bad enough but he also falsified his report. He should do time and lose his badge! And SUE! Cops like him blacken the reputation of every decent cop.
(He also claimed in a police report that one of the women had kicked him, so they were charged with felony assault of an officer. That charge was dismissed five months later.)

Exactlly, even if they did kick him they were defending themselves. He was off duty and harrassing them.

Disagree. They dismissed those charges of felony assault entirely. It never happened! Even if one of their shoes brushed his pants legs, he would’ve been able to keep that charge. He lied his ass off. Even if you are being arrested by an *sshole, you still can’t and shouldn’t kick. Hopefully someone will record an interaction with a cop and the cop will get tripped up on his lies. (pun intended)

hope the judge awards lots of money…not only did the officer assault and perpetrate false arrest he enlisted citizen bystanders to help him do his dirty work…send him to prison…;(
