Carson: ‘The Power Of God’ Behind Campaign
We’ll have to wait to find out of “the power of God” is enough to propel Ben Carson to victory.
He said that instead of retiring, God opened the door for him to enter the presidential race “much to the consternation of all the professional class and all the pundits” who said it was “impossible” for a “political neophyte” like him to build a national campaign.
“And yet, you see, it’s happening,” Carson said. “They don’t understand the power of God.”

I think they all should have picked a different God. This one isn’t very good at choosing Presidents. Perhaps Thor or Zeus would be better?

as an agnostic I think it’s great that everyone has their own private spirituality…but I don’t want it in anything paid for by fed dollars…ie…gov, education, healthcare….etc

It certainly is curious. In recent years, a number of socially conservative politicians have publicly declared that their political aspirations were the result of “speaking with God”, some even going so far as to insist that their election campaigns were “God’s will”.
Huckabee, Santorum, Bachmann, Cain, Perry, Gingrich, Palin, … and Romney — all had cited some form of covenant with the Lord as a key motivator in their pursuit for higher office, including the quest for the presidency.
And yet each had his/her campaign for the presidential GOP nominee either never materialize, quickly crash and burn, or gradually founder.
So what insights can we glean from this turn of events? Perhaps God has a perverse sense of humor, as He appears to have punk’d each of these POTUS wannabes.
So Dr. Ben — that snickering sound that you hear is not the good Lord

Well Ben Carson (R) let’s get something straight. You have spoken out about Muslims and Jewish people in not very Christian terms. Ben Carson (R) just spews hate, lies and anger at anyone that does not agree with the him or the voices in his head! GOD wants love/help for all men women, children and help for the disabled and sick when needed. Ben Carson (R) is hearing voices in his head, and we all know based on Carson’s own words he is probably hearing Satan, because when Ben Carson the republican candidate speaks…GOD WEEPS!
