During an interview with a TV station in Iowa over the weekend, Mike Huckabee declared that he sees no difference at all between some states ignoring federal laws against marijuana and someone like Kim Davis refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Huckabee’s comments began when a reporter asked him about the reform of marijuana laws and criminal justice reform in the United States. Would that be something that the former Governor of Arkansas would consider as President? To which Huckabee replied:

Well, I think we need to recognize that marijuana has never made anybody a better citizen. Does it make you a better worker? Does it make you a better mom or dad? A better citizen? Does it make you a more attentive driver? If there’s a benefit to it, and there may be medically. If your doctor prescribes certain uses of it, then I’m open to that….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

I think the reason Huckleberry doesn’t know the difference between marijuana and marriage is because he’s not too bright – which is why he’s on the GOP ticket.

Any story concerning the GOP candidates, especially the fringers, has an excellent chance of being from the Onion.

What a stupid f*cking question. The two are not remotely related. I have a better question: What’s the difference between Huckleberry and a human being? Sorry, we’re out of time. Also, the internet doesn’t have enough space to contain the full answer. SMH

The biggest difference is the voters of Colorado, Washington, and Oregon voted on the issue and a majority said it’s OK within their state borders. You’d think that would be enough for all the rw states-rights advocates. Kim Davis is just one xian bitch who decided to defy the SCOTUS.

with a marriage license, you get spousal bennies (tax credit, per diem, visitation rights, special deals, etc.)

with the wild weed you only get HI!

I don’t think US Immigration would have granted citizenship to my wife if she had just gone in and smoked a joint in front of them – or even sent some zig zag wrappers in, do you?

plus – it gives LAZY ASS county clerks in Kentucky something to do to justify this world’s paychecks.
