Chomsky: Attacking Iran Would Make U.S. A ‘Rogue State’

Posted by | October 16, 2015 09:00 | Filed under: Politics Radio Interviews War & Peace

MIT Professor Noam Chomsky appeared on radio with me  Thursday night to talk about the world’s hot spots and the presidential race. Chomsky explained why he believes there is no need for a nuclear deal with Iran and said using force against Iran, if they violate the deal, would be extreme and would turn the United States into a “rogue state.”

We discussed why Iran was the winner of the Iraq War, why Sen. Bernie Sanders has very little chance of winning the presidency, even though Chomsky supports him, and why Syria is a “total disaster” on the brink of destruction.

Same here. Of course, the nuclear deal is all said and done, and let’s face it, despite bleatings from both sides, Obama is not going to launch an attack on Iran.

Now, if the next President is one of the fools from the GOP Klown Kar, then yes, there will be a very high chance of an attack on Iran happening, nuclear deal be damned.

We did just that with Iraq. They didn’t attack us, Bush just wanted to start another war.

It started with Americans inviting illegal European aliens over for dinner.

It breaks my heart to think so but I guess you’re right.

exactly. I remember when the UN Inspectors were saying there were no WMD’s in Iraq – but we went ahead with a 10+year occupational ‘liberation’ Military Armed Conflict policy anyway.

Noam Chomsky isn’t going to be with us for much longer..
We had better listen to him while we still have a chance.
