Carson Reacts To Massacre Saying Gun Registration Is Dangerous

Posted by | October 1, 2015 19:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Ben Carson was on Hugh Hewitt’s show in the wake of the Oregon tragedy worrying about gun registration.

“Obviously, there are those who are going to be calling for gun control,” Carson said of the event, which left at least 13 people dead. “Obviously, that’s not the issue. The issue is the mentality of these people.” He said instead of focusing on guns, we should be looking for “early warning clues” to prevent incidents such as this one…

“What I worry about is when we get to the point were we say we need to have every gun registered,” Carson said. He continued, “we have to know where the people are and where their guns are, that’s very dangerous. And that I wouldn’t agree with at all.”

Voting is a right, what do you have to say about that rights being taken away from voters like in Alabama?

      • Suzanne McFly October 1st, 2015 at 22:32

Actually they are not different than him, like him they are also Black Americans. That is just something he would rather you forgot about.

i’d like to hold a mirror up to him and then whack it right across his head. but, that’s just me. it’s not like i’d do any damage.

I won’t stop you, but I will post your bail :)

we should be looking for “early warning clues” to prevent incidents such as this one. If he truly believed that, instead of just lying for the moment, he wouldn’t support the party that at every level cuts or eliminates budgets for mental health diagnosis, treatment and support. More meaningless, yet cold-hearted, drivel from him.

Guns don’t kill people, gun registrations kill people.

sounds about right eh? he’s a serious ass for certain.

“we have to know where the people are and where their guns are, that’s very dangerous. And that I wouldn’t agree with at all.”

Largest data base of gun owners is compiled by the NRA.

How about it Benny? SPEAK UP!

    Whaaat?

    • whatthe46 October 1st, 2015 at 20:36

even if he played it back, he’d still be too stupid to understand how stupid that statement was.

      • allison1050 October 1st, 2015 at 21:01

        You know you’re right.

  7. jasperjava October 1st, 2015 at 20:39

“The issue is the mentality of these people.”

There are reports that the shooter was some kind of religious nut.

    Much like Carson.

That IS an issue. We have to keep an eye on folks like that, and make sure that they can’t harm anybody. We certainly don’t want them as commander-in-chief of the armed forces, with access to nuclear weapons.

  8. StoneyCurtisll October 1st, 2015 at 20:39

    No need to worry..
Dr. Ben will never be President of the United States of America.

    • whatthe46 October 1st, 2015 at 20:46

it’s not that i’m worried. i just hate having to hear him talk. about anything.

      • StoneyCurtisll October 1st, 2015 at 21:18

It is painful to the soul…

  9. Suzanne McFly October 1st, 2015 at 22:27

These types will not change their minds until it happens to one of their own. They feel no empathy towards others, 20 babies died in my state and nothing happened because these bastards have been bought and paid for by the NRA. Why would anything change when 10 adults were slaughtered at a community college if no one batted an eye for 20 babies?

  10. LoisB October 1st, 2015 at 22:31

    Shut up Ben, just STFU.

  11. Chris October 1st, 2015 at 23:09

    Madness.

Let’s just stop listening to this madness, ignore them, and urge the rational members of Congress to get going on gun control. Are there any rational members left with guts?

  12. jybarz October 2nd, 2015 at 01:20

Ben Carson, you’re a bloody hopeless dumb politician.
You should have been able to self-diagnose that you have a foot in the mouth disease complicated by your lack of common sense.

  13. The Original Just Me October 2nd, 2015 at 01:25

Total gun identification and registration—— MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. It would be easier and cheaper to waste money on building a fence between U.S and Mexico.

    • Tim Coolio October 2nd, 2015 at 07:30

We have now reached a point in this country where it will be generations before things get back to normal, there’s that many guns floating around now!

      • The Original Just Me October 3rd, 2015 at 05:25

I am strongly against assault weapons. An assault weapon is ANY devise created and built expressly for the purpose of killing or harming human beings. As far as firearms go, I have no problems with sport, recreational, competitive, or hunting firearm use or ownership. As far as Antique collecting goes. It is okay as long as the assault type weapons are permanently disabled. I just feel responsible ownership, that is not the testosterone fueled version, goes, if someone is against back ground checks they should not be owning guns.

        • Tim Coolio October 3rd, 2015 at 08:15

And when going to places like a mall I can’t think of any reason why anyone needs a gun.

          • The Original Just Me October 3rd, 2015 at 11:25

True enough. there isn’t any shooting ranges inside of Malls that I can think of and that is the only reason I could come up with for taking a gun to a Mall. Although, carrying a little self protection during Black Friday Sale day at J.C. Pennys might not be Bad idea.

  14. fahvel October 2nd, 2015 at 03:23

the american gun culture attitude is a major part of the psychosis of gun incidents – since Davey Crockett, you people have had the gun on a pedestal along side of your neurosis.

  15. rg9rts October 2nd, 2015 at 04:06

Of course he doesn’t want gun control…this murderer is a conservative gopee

My last pay check was $7985 working 9-10 hours a
    week online.
My sisters friend has been averaging 16k for months
now and she works about 18 hours a week.
    I can’t believe how
easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do…
