Half Of Trump Lead Evaporates

Posted by | September 25, 2015 13:00 | Filed under: Politics

The Donald’s 15 point lead of a month ago is down to 7.7.

If that pattern were to hold mathematically, another candidate would overtake him a month from now. The intriguing aspect of Trump’s poll numbers is that he hasn’t actually lost any support; the roughly 24% of republican voters who supported him last month still support him now. And even as other candidates begin to finally climb into double digit support, Trump hasn’t won over any new converts…

But we can now see that even as more republicans are moving from undecided to decided, literally none of them are picking Trump. And if he can’t change that, he’ll have no chance of winning the republican primary despite still being the frontrunner.

2012 GOP field redux: They had a different frontrunner who would eventually crumble and they got Romneyed!

The early frontrunner frequently stumbles. Peak early, wane early.

That pose in the picture looks like a priest about to consecrate the host, but I know that’s not what he’s doing.

So the losers who have backed him from the beginning are still backing him, but they don’t have any friends who will join them.

That explains it, I didn’t think there were really that many truly stoopid people.

This isn’t something to really celebrate, his supporters simply are now jumping on the next nuts band wagon. A nut is a nut is a nut….

    • Gbonnie September 25th, 2015 at 20:45

Just like a balloon Trump rose in the polls because he was full of HOT AIR, but he has cooled off and he is coming down again.

Candide refers to a Satire Story by Voltaire of extreme optimism but what is the Thirtythree ?

                    • CandideThirtythree September 27th, 2015 at 05:08

I went to Catholic school as a kid and they gave us all numbers in the first grade so that we would always line up in order, turn in our papers in order, collect our coats and book bags in order, they numbered all of our supplies etc., 33 was my number.

When I was first assigned the number I was so excited to have my very own number, a number belonged to me. As I got older I realized that it was not such a good thing because I no longer had a name, just a number.

By the time I got to the 5th grade I realized it was actually a bad thing and didn’t want to be just a number any more and refused to put the number on my papers. If my papers didn’t have a number on them, they would not be graded, I spent a lot of time in the convent after school for it and I failed. My mother kept threatening to put me in public school if I failed, and that is what I wanted and that is what I got LOL.

So 33 is my first act of revolt, rebellion hahaha! It also reminds me that things that sound great often aren’t after a bit of refection and that is a lesson that I never want to forget.

Thank You. I’d just bet you were also required to wear identical uniforms. Fitting in is one thing but being lost in the crowd is repressive. I have always believed in allowing individual personalities to develop and expand. Recognition of the individual is paramount. I was always told I could do better but No one ever told me why. Many times in my later life, I really wished someone would have helped me develop my abilities instead of just shuffling me along with the crowd. There are places for ridged discipline , such as the military, but freedom of expression is the source of all progress. Have a Happy Day. Oh, and watch tonight’s Eclipse of the Super Moon. It should be Great.

If the people of the U.S. have half a brain, between Trump’s campaign and McCarthy taking over the Speakership, the Democrats should have a Tsunami next Nov. 2016. But, we will see.

    • CandideThirtythree September 27th, 2015 at 03:39

It would be if the majority of Americans were even paying attention but they are not.

      • The Original Just Me September 27th, 2015 at 04:12

        Sadly True.
