Coulter: ‘How Many F–ing Jews Do These People Think There Are In The United States’?
Ann Coulter says she was talking about how the Republicans in Wednesday night’s debate were pandering, and was not a rap on Jews. But it’s not being interpreted that way in many quarters.

In a separate tweet, she said, “Maybe it’s to suck up to the Evangelicals.”
When Christie made his pledge, Coulter tweeted: “Christie also talks @ Israel in response to the question: What will AMERICA look like after you are president?”
Subsequently, she tweeted, “How to get applause from GOP donors: 1) Pledge to start a war 2) Talk about job creators 3) Denounce abortion 4) Cite Reagan 5) Cite Israel.”
The sequence drew outrage and satire on social media. Christians United for Israel excoriated Coulter in a release.
“Ann Coulter’s tweets this evening concerning Israel were completely inappropriate,” spokesman Ari Morgenstern said in a statement. “The U.S.-Israel relationship is both a moral and strategic imperative. There are tens of millions of Christians in this country who stand with the Jewish state.
Sadly, though, she rallied the white supremacist crowd, more than those who saw the kind of pandering Republicans were doing.

I have my doubts about it coming true, but this Tweet about having something else to thank Jewish people for (e.g. ending Coulter’s career) certainly made my day.

That notion is much older than Stephen Hawking. So why do you attribute it to him? Because he has authority among certain people. But making an argument from authority is the antithesis of that statement.
On top of that, you attach the statement to a picture of Ann Coulter, in order to insinuate that it applies to her. How many of her books have you read? I’ve read some of Coulter’s stuff, and she is a perfect example of the adage. She gives the appearance of knowing what she is talking about, but her work is incredibly sloppy and poorly sourced. She is a hatemonger who will use distorted “evidence” to spread her lies.

Obviously, what she meant was “is it really politically expedient for presidential candidates to grovel cravenly before Israeli interests, given the relative paucity of Jewish voters in this country?” It’s a legitimate question, I think, especially if a conservative pundit (or pasty, pale imitation thereof) is concerned about the ultimate electability of the GOP candidate.
That said, I think her frustration allowed her true bigotry to blossom fully at last.

The people being pandered to by these GOP candidates are not American Jews, primarily.
They are sucking up to the religious right. Those people are the dangerous ones- they have an apocalyptic world view and would gladly drag us into a big fat war in the Middle East- just to be sure Jesus comes down to save little Israel.
