Clinton Lead Over Sanders And GOP Shrinks
Hillary Clinton’s numbers are declining according to a CNN/ORC poll.
The new poll finds Clinton with 37% support among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters, down 10 points since August, followed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 27% and Vice President Joe Biden at 20%. Sanders’ support is about the same as it was in August, making Biden the only candidate to post significant gains in the last month. His support is up 6 points in the last month as he weighs making a run for the presidency.
Behind the top three, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley holds 3%, former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb is at 2% and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee logs less than 1% support.

I ask, How real is Sanders’s popularity ? Don’t get me wrong. I do feel Bernie is a good guy, just not president material. BUT, he is being used by the Republicans to try and defeat Hilary BEFORE they have to face her in the main election. They know they can beat Bernie just by calling him a Socialist, Just one of the things they are doing is Falsely supporting Bernie to run his numbers up. It is just like passing out FALSE PLEDGE SHEETS at Hilary’s Campaign stops. The Filthy, underhanded Republicans are trying everything they can to stop Hilary before they have to face her in the main election.

Calling Bernie a socialist isn’t going to defeat him. If anything it will probably help him. In a world with increasing inequality and corruption with the rich and powerful, socialism starts looking a lot more attractive.

I totally agree with you on Socialism IF kept under control. But, the Tea Party/Republicans have used their Joseph Goebbels Propaganda machine to distort the meaning of what Socialism really is. There are many people out there that get really scared when they hear the word Socialism. These folks have no clue to what Socialism is or that all forms of government use socialistic programs to great success.

The people that get really scared at the word socialism probably aren’t ever going to vote for the democratic party or any one halfway reasonable to begin with. People that paranoid are generally RWNJs and there really isn’t any reason to try and get their vote, they’re a lost cause.

It’s kind of weird but I never really knew the difference between Communism, Socialism, Capitalism, and Feudalism, until I stepped in and taught a Government class in High School one day. I think I learned more that the students that day. But at the end of the class period I believe most of the students had a good understanding if the different economic systems.

I don’t know…
Polls are showing Hillary losing ground against Republican candidates and outright losing to some of them
On the other hand, Sanders is gaining ground and winning in some polls.
His popularity is quite real as no other candidate, on either side, has his same career-long adherence to unchanging principles.
I don’t know of any fake supporters for him.
A good example is a friend of mine who used to be Republican until earlier this year when he finally had enough of their idiocy, saying it wasn’t him leaving them but that they had left him.
He can’t stand Hillary and would vote Obama into a third term before voting for her, but… he likes Sanders.
We can trust Sanders to stick to his word and his message.
We know he’ll pursue exactly what he says he’ll do, but we can’t assume that of any other candidate… as they have all gone back on their word or changed/evolved over time.
I’ll vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination and believe she would do a decent job, but for me, Sanders is by far the best candidate for the job.
