Robertson: Anyone Who Believes In God Now Goes To Jail

Posted by | September 9, 2015 16:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Religion

Nothing like a little hyperbole to hype Kim Davis.

The “700 Club” host said today that a judge’s decision to temporarily put Davis in the custody of U.S. Marshals for repeatedly breaking the law proves that now anyone can be sent to prison just for their faith.

“Christianity, the founding principle of this nation, is criminalized,” he claimed. “You go to jail if you believe in God and stand fast for your beliefs against the onslaught of secular humanism and the flood that comes about with it.”

“Kim Davis is not exactly that champion we’d all want to stand up for our beliefs but nevertheless she did it and she’s the heroine of the piece, but there will be many, many others,” he said.

If only that were true…we would finally find a way to get you off the air and let granny’s all over America keep a bit more of their SS money…what a drama queen…

But the sky is falling, the sky is falling! (…does that mean it will rain screws?)

  2. Maxx44 September 9th, 2015 at 16:12

Can this clown become any more delusional? First of all this is a secular country. Second, she went to jail for contempt of court, but I know facts aren’t important to old Uncle Fester.

    • alpacadaddy September 9th, 2015 at 19:56

Yes, but Fester was far smarter, friendly, and enlightened than this hateful old fossil!

  3. StoneyCurtisll September 9th, 2015 at 16:41

    Pat Robertson..
This old fool just need to be put to sleep…
He knows not of what he speaks.

This whole Kim Davis fiasco has been a torrent of money flowing to these charlatans. Every tv preacher and the grifters like Huckabee never thought they would make this much (tax free) in their wildest dreams.

      • whatthe46 September 10th, 2015 at 00:13

only now they (kim and huckafk) are being sued for 1.2 mil by Survivor for using their song. KARMA!!!

        • lynchie September 10th, 2015 at 07:02

I hadn’t heard that. Great. But Huck’s defence is God wanted him to rip off that song so sue him. Another example of the war against christianity

The more Religious a person is, the more they fear death. Just ask around. It is real.

      • whatthe46 September 10th, 2015 at 00:11

which is crazy. because if they are truly religious, shouldn’t they be comfortable in death as they would be going to heaven.

        • The Original Just Me September 10th, 2015 at 10:00

But they go to church every Sunday and are told they are going to Hell if They don’t do as their told. That is scary.

        • Dwendt44 September 10th, 2015 at 13:58

Most know full well where they’ll end up. That’s why they fear death.

He’s making sh*t up again out of thin air. There is no sign that “Christianity, the founding principle of this nation, is criminalized.” And besides, as many people have pointed out, we are not a Christian nation. The founders were not Christians. Let Betty explain it. I would love to be able to slip this in the middle of his broadcast. Maybe that would finally do him in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxKA4JBesB4

    • Mike September 9th, 2015 at 20:03

Sadly it’s true Leo, Huck even has a pamphlet on it…

With your god’s name comes different levels of evilness…

      Jesus – Hello Kitty
      Jehovah – (Christian) Slightly evil
Jehovah – (Jewish US) – Very evil, cuz librull (Israeli Jew) You’re good to go
Yahweh – Sounds foreign, Moderately evil
Buddhists, Shinto, Hindu, Taoist – 9 on scale of 1-10
Allah – No, fuk no, most evil…11 on the Richter scale

  8. wpadon September 9th, 2015 at 17:28

I guess Robertson must not be a christian.

  9. Hirightnow September 9th, 2015 at 18:19

Pat, anyone who believes in your spiteful, vengeful,baby-killing, racist, tantrum-throwing,murderous “god” should actually be put in an asylum.
But Reagan kinda stopped that,so now their choices are to try to fit into society, go to jail or run for public office.
YOU, Pat, should actually go to jail for all the money you fleeced from the trusting flock who somehow still pays any attention to you.

  10. azeyote September 9th, 2015 at 18:56

and they prop him up again to drivel into a mic. – if he even knows what he says anymore, they should switch his meds – soon

    • The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:55

Nurse Ratched is on her way, with the new meds.

  11. tracey marie September 9th, 2015 at 18:58

Are you saying you do not believe in god since you are not jailed?

    • The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:53

      Bit of a quandary there.

  12. lynchie September 9th, 2015 at 22:00

That’s right Pat all you right wing christian nut jobs are going to prison. You will be in solitary confinement and fed only a flat diet, flapjacks and fried eggs which we will slide under the door. If we get you all lock up we can control you

    • The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:53

Why don’t we feed them Bacon, pork chops, and biscuits and sausage gravy. All they can eat for as long as their hearts last.

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2015 at 01:26

          • rg9rts September 10th, 2015 at 03:07

That always waits for you…ok rest I’ll annoy you later

      • Bunya September 10th, 2015 at 14:17

I think Robertson is a closeted gay, so he may actually be hoping he’s arrested and sent to prison. The song “It’s Rainin’ Men” comes to mind.

  13. maggie September 10th, 2015 at 01:17

“kim davis is not exactly the champion” that pat roberston would wish for but hey in the war on women any jezebel harlot will do right pat? Pat Robertson and Kim Davis are Domestic Terrorists.

  14. rg9rts September 10th, 2015 at 02:29

    Oh please yes…you first

  15. fahvel September 10th, 2015 at 03:34

a useful use for gitmo -ship the evangelical loons there and watch them devour ech(was gonna correct to each but ech seemed more appropriate) other.

  16. Böcker September 10th, 2015 at 10:22

Robertson needs to have a clarifying moment on this topic, Kim Davis went to jail for contempt, not her beliefs. But then again you can’t fund raise over that now can you??

  17. William September 10th, 2015 at 11:02

Yeah Pat, because you and your ilk are just FULL of Christian compassion.

  18. bpollen September 11th, 2015 at 05:33

It’s hardly standing fast when you deliberately put yourself in the way. It’s called self-righteous obstructionism if accuracy matters.

    • stormkite September 12th, 2015 at 13:06

Hello? Robertson? Accuracy hasn’t mattered in living memory.
