Looks like this guy has a history of complaints against him regarding beating up people.

there’s 4 suits at this time, not counting the one this tennis player is going to have against him. only now did they take his badge and gun away, but he’s on some limited kind of duty. ain’t that a bitch? it took an “important” black man for them to even “chastise” this pos. he had at least 4 more freebies left.

          • CHOCOL8MILK September 12th, 2015 at 00:38

This goes back to how shitty the culture in law enforcement is; empowering the bullies. Lack of accountability, and sweeping incidents away like with what occurred with the officer in this case. You’re right, this guy should not have been allowed back on the streets bullying and getting a “free pass” because of his badge and gun.

unfortunately the problem is that those who would choose or desire to become a cop are the last people in the world who should be allowed to be one. I’ve had a thought on this that while it may sound ridiculous and crazy it actually might be a good plan. What if all cops were moms and you had to be a mom to be a cop? Mom’s already have running a police state down and have no problem with picking common sense over legal loophole. Add to this scenario that those who might potentially shoot a cop would be far less likely to shoot a mom, your mom, their mom, anyone’s mom. Make it grand moms and you go one better. I have a saying if it takes brute force to do something then you are not doing it right. All the cops I’ve known who are decent cops and the kind of people who you want doing this job are also dedicated parents and get the connection. The sad part is most of them usually move to working for the fire department or such because they get tired of looking over their shoulder. and dealing with the behavior of many co-workers. I’ve known several women, single moms, who have chosen to be a cop for the pay mainly, but they are still very good cops and a step in the right direction. So how about a mandatory drafted police force with two prerequisites. One that your a mom who has raised at least one child and two that there is no history or accusations of child abuse, so your kids would have to sign off for you. Then hopefully a good deal of mom lectures will do more than more assault rifles and the money we save on prisons can go to better education and better pay for teachers and cops making the position desirable. And yes I have thought about that some would have their kids accuse them of abuse to get out of the draft but hopefully the social humiliation would be enough to keep such a tactic from becoming common. The position would be seen as a public affirmation of good worth and respect, that to be a cop is to be recognized as a good parent, one who cares enough about the society their children and children’s children grow up in to do the dirtiest job. Hell can’t be any worse than a thousand days of dirty diaper changes.

Boxer Roy jones jr. defects to russia

    Jones asked Putin for
citizenship in August over a cup of tea when they met in Crimea — the
territory annexed by Russia last year — saying it would make doing
    business in Russia much easier.

    Putin
said this would be possible if Jones planned to spend a significant
part of his life in Russia, while the boxer said he hoped sport could
help “build a bridge” between the U.S. and Russia.

After the decree was published, Jones told Russian news agency R-Sport that he planned to learn the Russian language.

    “I
want to speak so well in Russian that people understand me without any
problems,” Jones said. “I think that’ll take about a year. I hope that
next year I’ll already be speaking like a Russian.”

He added that he now wanted to “earn two or three billion dollars,” open boxing schools in Russia and develop his rap career.

There’s gotta be an easier way to earn a couple billion dollars. Russia? I’d rather move to Mercury.

          I need some deets, yo!
Like, what is it made out of and what did you use to make it?

And is it as big as it looks? ;)

          • Apocalypse September 16th, 2015 at 01:21

It’s 8.5 ft. tall and is balanced on one foot
Heli-arc welded metal frame with about 350 lb. of non-drying modeling clay sculpted around it.
The photo is of the finished clay model.
A fiberglass-plaster mold was made of it…which destroys the original in the process.
The final result will be a bronze statue cast from the mold at a cost of about $90,000 from the foundry…yet to be done.

            • Kick Frenzy September 16th, 2015 at 01:50

              That’s pretty damn hot.
I mean the specs… but the statue is impressive, too!

How long did it take you to sculpt it?
And will you be sharing a picture of the bronze version too?
(Not that I’d be in a market to buy something like it, but it’s really impressive work and it’d be cool to see the finished product.)

              • Apocalypse September 16th, 2015 at 02:03

                Thanks.
It took about a year working for a few hrs a day, I’l share a picture when it’s cast into bronze.

                • Kick Frenzy September 16th, 2015 at 02:29

Wow… that’s certainly a commendable amount of dedication!
I can’t wait to see the bronze cast!

I don’t get it. This will cost you $90K?

              It’s beautiful though.

              • Apocalypse September 24th, 2015 at 14:01

That’s the cost of casting somethng that size into bronze…price can vary. That quote was from a foundry where I offered to do a lot of the labor. I paid $$2,500 to have the mold prepared for casting. I did not know it would be that costly when I started it. After that began sculpting in stone as can do all th labor start to finish. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/18531b4f96c57cac56ff76b9182c60b6deddca7e950ac4f491b8d99ae2f3f437.jpg

I’m so totally lost it’s not funny. But thanks for trying to explain it anyway.

Regardless, it’s very beautiful and I hope you or whoever (?) it may or may not go to – or whoever may or may not be paying you to make it – or (?) – enjoys it for years to come.

It’s really gorgeous. I bought a painting recently from an artist. It costs $85.00.

So, $90K is a tad bit out of my reach:-)

                  • Apocalypse September 24th, 2015 at 16:12

                    Thanks,
I sculpted that piece on commission. The buyer was going to have multiple bronze castings made…keeping one for himself and selling the others for about $25,000 .00 apiece. He was famous in the interior design field and had many international connections. Unfortunately he died before the statue was finished. I paid to have the mold made myself hoping that someday I would have the 90,000 to cast it into a finished bronze statue. Due to my health I’l likely die before that happens. I’v given the mold to relatives who may be abfe to cast a finished bronze it in the future. I just hope it doesn’t go to waste.
When my health stopped me from sculpting I started doing digital art like this.. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/da4c221977aa477bce7117c864336ed167759069335ddeabe73eed8f54acbe1a.jpg

Kathleen Parker’s column. Her best line, about Huckleberry and Cruz supporting Kim Davis was: “Why would any candidate align himself with the sort of ignorance that prompts someone to carry a sign comparing the U.S. Supreme Court to the Islamic State? Because stupid sells, apparently.”
