Arkansas County Placing ‘In God We Trust’ Stickers On Police Cars

Posted by | September 1, 2015 07:30 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Religion

This will surely stop crime and make us have a more orderly society. Just put God’s name in more places.

Earlier this month, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) sent letters to two Arkansas law enforcement agencies asking for the removal of “In God We Trust” stickers from police cars after several anonymous complaints.

“It is inappropriate for the department to display ‘In God We Trust’ on government property,” FFRF co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor wrote on Aug. 19 to the Cave City Police Department, according to Arkansas Online. “Statements about a god have no place on government-owned cars.”

Cave City Mayor Ron Burge has not yet acted on the letter.

“I don’t see anything wrong with it,” he said. “Everybody’s been for it.”

The nearby City of Osceola also intends on placing decals with the phrase on all city-owned vehicles, according to WMCA.

What is so difficult to understand about the state not endorsing a religion for these idiots? More like “In Glock We Trust” though.

Let the one person who worships Satan put their sticker on a car and watch how quickly this whole “religious” promotion idea comes to an end.

That is what backhoes are for. Bury the non acceptable bumper stickers, cars, occupants, and all. Just ask any backwards Sheriff.

Isn’t “In God We Trust” the national motto by law? Seems like it would be legit to have the national motto on government vehicles or other property. I would like to see politicians propose changing the motto – maybe Hillary can come out against it as a platform of the Democratic party.

The problem I have is that the same people insisting that we adorn government owned vehicles with slogans representing their Judeo-Christian beliefs, would be raising all kinds of cain if for example, some other city or jurisdiction decided that “All Praise to Allah” should be written on police cars.

That is always my objection in these matters. Christians are demanding privileges they zealously oppose extending to other religious groups, or did you miss all the squawking over “Sharia Law” these past couple of years?

Well, nitwit, since people have told you that they are not for it, your lie that everyone’s been for it is pretty easily proven to be a LIE.

    Big Fat Duh.

I always picture the slogan “In God We Trust” was a cynical American view on the corruptness of politicians, your fellow men, the backing of the paper currency, etc.

In other words: “You can’t trust your fellow man, so put your trust in something else.”

So putting this on police cars, it translates to: “We don’t trust the police… but trust the invisible sky deity over these corrupt fools.”

“In God We Trust” anagram translates into “Tut Is Wronged”. Maybe the cops are all secretly worshipping Steve Martin. lol

“So help me god” sticker for anyone who ever dares to have an eye contact with some of us slimy cops.

as long as they all wear one fiber uniforms, I see nothing wrong with ALLAHU AKBAR being placed on US Law Enforcement Vehicles in bright flashing lights. Just make sure there’s no willful ABOMINATIONS like wearing mixed fibers or shooting black children in the back just because they were standing on a concrete sidewalk or walking on a paved road. (most of them already know they’re not allowed to walk on private property without permission).

Got to trust somebody ,,,, can’t trust the police any longer

  14. Mike September 2nd, 2015 at 00:33

I don’t care what they put on their vehicles if they would just stop shooting people…4 more today brings us to 797 this year alone…
