Trump Would Raise Taxes On The Rich
Donald Trump would do the same thing Democrats say they want to do: raise taxes on the rich.
Asked whether his proposed changes meant he was prepared to raise taxes on himself, the billionaire framed his answer in terms of fairness.
“That’s right. That’s right. I’m OK with it. You’ve seen my statements, I do very well, I don’t mind paying some taxes. The middle class is getting clobbered in this country. You know the middle class built this country, not the hedge fund guys, but I know people in hedge funds that pay almost nothing and it’s ridiculous, OK?”
While Trump’s position on taxing hedge fund managers at a higher rate is similar to the views expressed by Democrats Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, his stance on whether Congressional Republicans should battle President Obama over raising the nation’s debt ceiling is anything but.
“I would say that it’s worth the fight, because honestly there’s so much fat in Washington, that if you had the right people in there you could cut it and there would be no problem,” Trump said.
Still, Trump acknowledged that while he believed that Republicans should attempt to stand their ground, the reality is that the ceiling would once again be lifted.

It reminds me of those who fell all over themselves in supporting Ron Paul (and Rand Paul, for that matter) because Paul said that he wanted to end government overreach and end the Fed and pull our troops from overseas. There were cheers and claims that he was better than that stupid, can’t get s*@! done corporate whore Obama.
…Of course, that meant that one would have to ignore the massive downsides like Paul’s less than stellar record on civil rights, women’s rights, the poor and uninsured, and the Libertarian beliefs that he would bring with him.

The rich hate high tax rates because they have to work a bit to get even richer.
Back when the top tax rate was over 90%, the rich still got richer. Now they just get richer faster.

Back in Eisenhower’s Day, we had 95 % Max Tax. In order to avoid high taxes, the businessmen reinvested the profits back into the American Based businesses like, larger or more factories. Newer equipment, More research and development, more AMERICAN employees, and higher wages for middle America. Now days they pay micro taxes and put the profits in off shore banks to dodge even more taxes. Eisenhower built the free way system with the tax money, AMERICAN workers lived and grew on ONE WORKER per family wages, and America was the Greatest country in the World. And then along came GOD Reagan and his tax cuts for the Rich.
