The male shooter who killed a reporter and photographer during a live report is believed to be a former employee of the television station.

Although cops have reportedly determined the man’s name and license plate number, they have not yet released any identifying information.

Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe tells WTOP that police are currently “in active pursuit” of a suspect and expect to have him in custody soon. CNN reports officers are currently chasing him down Virginia’s I-81.

McAuliffe tells the station, “We know who the suspect is, we believe it is a disgruntled employee from the TV station is what we believe right now.”
