It’s a favorite gag of mine to confront the kids smoking a joint in the back of the bus with my best bad-ass scowl and “hope you brought enough for everybody.”

OK, here it goes. I do not smoke weed, never have never plan to. I support its decriminalization simply because I think government has better things to do. I am perhaps further to the Left than many I have seen on here but I really think some smokers need to understand that this stuff is offensive to folks. Coming on here with an ‘in your face’ attitude toward your use of it is childish and just rude. It’s called ‘consideration’, folks. It’s not rocket science- you’re using a substance that stinks to a lot of us.

It’s hard to see how smoking weed in one’s home is ‘in your face’. The neighborly thing to do would be to let one’s neighbor know the smell is offensive & ask them to use an air filter or something. Not to call the fuzz, lol.
(And the neighborly thing for the pot smoker would be to apologize & purchase said air filter, of course.)

Weed dissipates.
The reason we banned smoking from so many places was that it was so relentlessly ‘in our face.’
On the other hand, weed smokers don’t toke out in public (yet).

it went all the way to court and the anti pot ppl using the smell as an excuse to harass legal pot smokers lost. Unless they legally turn the neighborhood into a smoke free neighborhood. No incense, BBQ, Cigs, scented candles etc. the anti pot ppl are just going to have to buy a fan.

I think what people do in their own homes is their own business and if weed is legal then puff away, as long as they are not blowing it in your face then calm down! IMO!

The guy must have been smoking some real bunk weed because it really stinks even to a pot smoker. High quality pot that has been fed good nutrients allowed to mature then flushed and properly cured smells exotic not like burning tires or a BBQ.

Weird, my neighbors barbecue smoke attracts people. Possibly it’s the applewood, or the charred flesh either way funny how the world works.
