Trump In 2012: Romney’s Self-Deport Policy ‘Maniacal’; ‘Mean-Spirited’

Posted by | August 18, 2015 22:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Donald Trump has flip-flopped again.

“He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal. It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote. He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”

— Donald Trump, quoted by Newsmax, calling Mitt Romney’s immigration proposals “mean-spirited” in November 2012.

He does seem to have an agenda and a direction but to where. Let’s see, Palin is waiting for him at what was it, 1900 Pennsylvania Ave.

Today’s Headliner is all that matters. Trump never looks back. Tomorrow is a new day and a new headliner, no specifics required, and the Right Wing Zombies will follow.

    Self-deportation is maniacal and mean-spirited.
Forced mass deportation, on the other hand, is completely pragmatic and humane.

Donald says so, therefore it must be true.

And the Tea Party believes it.

      • Roctuna August 19th, 2015 at 07:55

Nah, I don’t think the tea cares whether it’s maniacal and mean-spirited or not.

I don’t think there is any doubt that Trump would be for open borders and be extolling the work ethic of the Mexican workers if he saw his opening on the Democratic side. (if McCain or Romney were president)
