Donald Trump says his “blood” comment about Megyn Kelly was about her nose.

In an interview with CNN on Friday, the GOP frontrunner appeared to imply that Kelly ‘unfairly’ grilled him on his history of insulting women during a televised debate because she was menstruating.

He remarked that there ‘was blood coming out of her… wherever’, sparking a storm of outrage that led to RedState’s Erick Erickson booting him from the high-profile Georgia event’s Saturday line-up.

But now, Trump has taken to Twitter to hit back at his critics, writing: ‘So many “politically correct” fools in our country. We have to all get back to work and stop wasting time and energy on nonsense!’

…In a later post on Saturday morning, the presidential candidate added that his remarks about Kelly were not made in reference to her menstrual cycle – but were actually referring to her nose.

‘Re Megyn Kelly quote: “you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” (NOSE). Just got on w/thought,’ Trump told his 3.58million followers.

    Way to try and play it off, people don’t watch Trump for policies they watch him since they know he is going to say something stupid and they want to catch it live, myself included! Some might like what he says on immigration by using fear-mongering and generalizations but the entertainment value is high!

      all of fox loved what he said on immigration and about latinos and so the the gopissers, they are just pissy becaused he attacked one of their own. also, i didn’t get the debate part of any of it really.

    Part I like best about Trump’s backpedal is that in order for it to work, you have to believe that he is such a dolt that in trying to scratch up the common name for that pointy thing in the center of our faces, he was absolutely stumped.
