John Bolton Wants To Bomb Iran And Change Its Regime

Posted by | July 27, 2015 13:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

I interviewed former UN Ambassador John Bolton on my foxnews.com Versus show. Bolton doesn’t like that President Obama won’t go after Iran’s military installations, and totally discounts the nuclear deal. He favors regime change, but agrees we’re not very good at building countries back after we change their regimes.

Yeah why not. After all, it worked so well in Iraq.

We already did that, back in the 50’s, sent the CIA in to replace the elected government of Iran with the Shah. That’s why our relations with Iran are so f*cked up. Bolton needs to read our history of screwing around with the elected governments of Central and South America. We are too good at it.

Like Mr. Schmitt said, didn’t work the first time.

Whenever some saber-rattling war hawk publicly advocates dropping bombs on Iran, Johns McCain and Bolton feel a stirring in their nether regions.

another big mouth with nothing of value to add, just bombs, destruction and death.

“I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy. I considered the war in Vietnam already lost.” – John Bolton

I don’t understand why Alan give this miserable loser a platform. The last person who’s opinion should matter on ANYTHING is someone who was too chicken to go fight in Viet Nam, yet is all too anxious to start another world war, knowing he’s too old, demented and frail to serve.

Better idea….send Bolton, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Dubya, Wolfowitz, et al to battle with ISIS and all those nice groups of terrorists that they helped create.

“but agrees we’re not very good at building countries back after we change their regimes.”……….Kind of late in figuring that one out bolton. You have lost any sense of credibility you may of once had.

    • allison1050 July 27th, 2015 at 18:11

      Did he have credibility?

      • Suzanne McFly July 27th, 2015 at 19:23

I believe we all start out with credibility but as some of us age and devolve, credibility is quickly lost.

He admits we are not good at rebuilding after we attack people, but blow them up any way so we can have another region who don’t like us. Did we not learn from Iraq when we tried this? Now that region is all messed up! what is that saying, “those who do not learn from history……..

I’d like to bomb them and change their regime, too. I’d like to do the same to many countries, but realize that’s pretty childish, especially when it is recognized that we don’t have a good record of regime imposition.
If you can’t afford that expensive flower pot at Pottery Barn, don’t drop it on the floor, Mr. Bolton.
    Duh.
