Georgia Republican Calls Black Woman ‘Cheap Street Walker Knee Grow’

Maybe he though if he spelled it “knee grow” no one would know what he was really saying.

Newton County Commissioner John Douglas posted an incendiary Facebook comment under a photo of a black woman desecrating a U.S. flag.

The image was widely circulated on social media as part of the #NotMyFlag protest. In it, a black woman is shown wiping her backside with Old Glory while giving the camera the middle finger.

While many attacked the image as offensive, Douglas went a step further and attacked the woman in a vicious, racist manner, writing “She is just a cheap street walker knee grow who lays down for white men.”

The comment has since been deleted, but not before a viewer sent a screen capture of to Channel 11.

When reporter Caty Beck contacted Douglas, he initially denied knowledge of the comment.

“I don’t know what happened, look at what she’s doing; I think that’s wrong,” he said.

Beck explained to Douglas that the woman in the photo — however offensive the image might be — is not an elected official, the commissioner said, “My response is you need to go find out why she did that.”

He has since posted an apology to his Facebook page, writing, “I used very insensitive racial words when I attack the flag abuser on Facebook that I deeply regret and apologized to the full commission and to Caty Beck from Channel 11 in tweets tonight. Again, I am very sorry for being insensitive, but you can understand how I lost my cool when I first saw this.”

Another elected official that will hopefully become a non-electable moron. Amazing how fast they retreat while attempting to cover their backsides when found out. Time for him to find another job and kudos to the citizen that enabled it.

“Knee grow”…really? I guess he thought it was clever enough that no one would catch on that he’s a racist.

He could have kept his so called apology since he didn’t mean it. So now I guess I’ll have to cruise on over to his FB page. ;o)

The fact that it occurred to him long enough for him to post it indicates that’s how he actually feels. The only thing he is sorry for is that he got caught. He’s not sorry he said it at all.
