Donald Trump continues to surge in the polls.

Trump has surged to the lead in the New Hampshire GOP presidential primary and virtually erased Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s advantage in the Iowa caucuses, according to new NBC News/Marist polls released Sunday.

In Iowa, Walker still tops the field with 19 percent, the poll shows — only two points ahead of Trump, who garners 17 percent. Interviews for the poll began on July 14 — the day after the Walker campaign’s launch event in Wisconsin. The only other candidate in double digits is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, at 12 percent…

As for the Trump surge, it comes even as many Republican voters remain resistant to him. In Iowa, Trump’s favorability rating is only at parity among Republican voters: 45 percent favorable to 44 percent unfavorable. And in New Hampshire, where he leads, a 53-percent majority of Republicans has an unfavorable opinion; just 39 percent view him favorably.

I am starting to wonder if this guy may actually pull it off and win the nomination.

Not in our lifetime…(win the nomination)
Remember it’s the RNC, they can tell him to get lost anytime…
Trump is a pariah to the RNC.
But he can still run, just not under the banner of the GOP.

First, let me say that I would never vote for Trump as President. He does not have the diplomacy needed to deal with the varied leaders of the World. Now, with that said, I absolutely applaud Donald Trump for what he IS accomplishing within the Republican Party. The Republican party has been on the moral decline for decades and recently their decline is a shooting star that is burning out. We need an opposite to either party in order to achieve a middle line balance in our government. That is the way the Founding Fathers set up our form of government. Mr. Trump is throwing a life preserver to the Republican Party in the form of a Bitch Slap up along side of their head. I saw the moral decline of the Republican Party start in the sixties with a very dirty and negative campaign run by Steve Symms of Idaho against setting Sen, Frank Church. Symms campaign tactics of attack, anger, and hate mongering led by lies, distortions and twisted facts, were only an opening door for the Republican Party which has culminated in today’s Tea Party hate and Anger motivated movement. The Joseph Goebbels Propaganda tactics are being used by the Republicans to an unprecedented level. Mr. Trump is shooting back at the Mob Mentality with straight forward, honest, on the top of the table truisms. What he says is shocking to most of us but it is straight talk to those who are getting very tired of the Nut Parade Cartoon Characters that are leading the present day Republican party. Please continue your forward movement of a Newly Refurbished Republican Party Mr. Trump.

      You can’t be serious.
Trump’s idiocy and bigotry are not “straight talk”. It’s just pandering to the lowest common denominator, the bottom of the barrel of the white supremacist wing of the RepubliKKKan party. People like fanboy John Tarter/Wayout.

“Straight talk” from a Republican would be: “let’s back away from ideological extremism and white supremacist demagoguery. Let’s look back at leaders like Eisenhower, Ford, and Reagan, who were able to compromise and get things done. Let’s stop being the “stupid party” and purge the extremist freaks”.

That’s not Trump. Trump is feeding the beast that created the downward slide for the Republican Party in the first place.

I absolutely agree with you on, Trump is feeding the beast that created the downward slide. This is exactly my point. He is bashing them with straight forward talk and provable truths and they are eating this policy up instead of the crapola from the rest of the Clown Bus riders. Reread his comments on Walker and you will see what I am talking about. Truth form the mouth of ?????

All the people who came out against Obama in the elections, because he is black, are the same people who are supporting this racist, along with those who hate the RINO’S in their own political party!
