Here’s another place where gun nuts think everyone should be armed.

Texas state Rep. Drew Springer (R) is pushing legislation that would allow staff and visitors to bring firearms into hospitals for self-defense, KERA-TV reports.

A few years ago, when Springer went to visit a Deputy Sheriff at a Fort Worth hospitgal, he had to leave his gun in the car.

Said Springer: “I go up and see the deputy and then I come back. I spend the next 10 minutes walking in a dark parking lot to get to my car in downtown Fort Worth and I absolutely did not feel safe.”

    That’s a major problem with carrying a gun. If you hold one, you start seeing the boogey man everywhere. Someone reaching for their wallet or phone is possibly drawing out their concealed weapon. If he’s so timid he gets nervous walking to his car, ask security to escort him. Yosemite Sam should be more worried about catching a disease or medical mistakes while in the hospital.
