Trump Reaffirms Support For Universal Health Care

Posted by | July 17, 2015 20:00 | Filed under: Politics

Donald Trump says he still believes in universal health care.

Trump added that he didn’t care if he lost votes for his position, saying “you have to take care of poor people.”

“And if I lose votes for that, I don’t really care. Because you have to take care of poor people, you have to take — I mean, think of yourself. You’re really sick, and you’re not allowed to see a doctor; I mean, it’s almost like, sort of, that’s you’re being in hell. So we have to take care of people that are poor. We have to do it. And we can make a plan, we can work a deal — I can work a deal with hospitals that will be great for everybody, and they’ll be able to go there, and you’re not gonna want to do that, and it won’t be pretty, it won’t be as nice as the other, but at least they’re being taken care of.”

Bankrupt GOP front runner feigns Universal Health Care support disguised as HC savings accounts. No thanks for another repub reacharound.

Dump Trump is only looking out for his own future when the world finds out he is really bankrupt and has no money of his own.

    he sounds so uneducated.

    • Obewon July 17th, 2015 at 20:38

“So we have to take care of people that are poor. Unless they’re ‘mezican!”

      • whatthe46 July 17th, 2015 at 20:48

i’m sure jeb would love this comment. it doesn’t have any word with more than 3 syllables.

I wonder how Steve King feels now that Trump must think he’s a rapist.

That was too funny man; I almost pee my pants…lol…

So much for an Ivy League education.

      • whatthe46 July 17th, 2015 at 23:10

it wasn’t an education he received, it was a payoff to the university. i should have been so lucky. at least i can read.

        • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 07:25

You can not only read but you understand my jokes. Good Girl.

      Like Sarah Palin or worse?

      • Carolina Gonzalez July 17th, 2015 at 22:40

        Worse

      • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 07:22

At least he hasn’t been caught writing crib notes on the palm of his hand YET .

    • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 07:23

He does seem to have a hard time putting a sentence together.

  3. Mike July 17th, 2015 at 21:10

He’s talking about a two tier type healthcare plan with drastically different care for the poor.

The Dump: “…they’ll be able to go there, and you’re not gonna want to do that, and it won’t be pretty, it won’t be as nice as the other, but at least they’re being taken care of.”

Is it me or does that sound like Sheriff Joe type healthcare in a tent out back, no anesthesia, second rate drugs…??? (or maybe part of his deal with the hospitals will make you a test subject) Amputate when infected, reuse gauze, etc…

It certainly doesn’t sound pretty. I’m wondering why the richest country in the world has trillions for war to kill other people in foreign lands, but balks at taking care of it’s own…even our vets get the shaft when it comes to continued care for battlefield injuries…sickening.

Pink hospital gowns and slippers for everybody!

      • Mike July 17th, 2015 at 21:36

        Can’t wait…

        • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 12:40

Wal-Mart always has another rest room at the back of the store for when the one in front is being cleaned. So you don’t have to wait.

With a wreath of pretty yellow flowers for your head.

    • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 07:20

From what he is saying, it sounds like they could go get free care at the emergency room. Isn’t that what they do now ?

      • Mike July 18th, 2015 at 11:49

Well, that’s the beauty of making statements without specifics…he does say “…it won’t be pretty…” and “…it won’t be as nice as the other…”
The ER’s in my neck of the woods are very well staffed and offer excellent care, so they would not fit those definitions…he’s talking some kind of 2nd rate care system for the poor and less fortunate. Sounds like he believes sending some to a veterinarian might be OK.

I can’t help but compare him to Hilary. When she speaks, she gives a definite plan and purpose. Yes at this point all of the details are not ironed out but what she is saying is real and believable. Now, When Old Dump Trump talks, it seems as thought all he wants to do is yell words and make noises to stir up the people who don’t listen anyway.

Because you have to take care of poor people……….and that is where you lost the right wing Christian vote.

    • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 12:33

in walking through stores and such, I can’t believe the number of people that say they like Trump and that he’s okay. Of coarse I do live in Idaho.

      • Suzanne McFly July 18th, 2015 at 21:00

It is here in Connecticut also, my own father says he makes sense. He just retired and I told him I am not afraid to get him locked up for dementia.

        • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 21:08

Dump Trump is making a lot of noise right now but he will be out before the serious stuff begins.

          • Suzanne McFly July 18th, 2015 at 21:12

He is a reflection of what the republican party has become and it is an ugly reflection that only some of them will acknowledge.

            • The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 21:33

He is confusing at best. Some of his sayings are extreme Right but some seem to lean Far Left. I think he is just saying stuff off cuff so as to draw attention to himself. Although, there are times that he also seems to be drawing some right Wingers away from the crowd. I get dizzy just trying to follow him. he really doesn’t seem to have any particular direction.

              • Suzanne McFly July 18th, 2015 at 21:37

I am confused how his polls keep rising, is there a segment of the population who have no idea who he is but they answer their landline phones to answer polls?

                • The Original Just Me July 19th, 2015 at 01:36

At this early stage of the game, many people will tell the poll takers they support X candidate, who just happens to be the most ridiculous of them all. They just love to mess with the polls.

                  • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2015 at 08:37

I hope that is what is going on.

                    • The Original Just Me July 19th, 2015 at 10:10

Only time will tell but in the meantime, load up on popcorn and beer.

                    • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2015 at 11:02

Check and check on those two items :)

  5. Carolina Gonzalez July 17th, 2015 at 22:45

:you have to take care of poor people, you have
to take — I mean, think of yourself. You’re really sick, and you’re not allowed
to see a doctor; I mean, it’s almost like, sort of, that’s you’re being in hell with all those Mexican jumping the wall” Even “Pancho” (see below)was happy with that rant…lmbao!

  6. DogsRgoodpeople July 17th, 2015 at 23:08

Wait, what ? He said this recently ? Yeah, Donald may be running as an independent soon.

  7. The Original Just Me July 18th, 2015 at 07:17

Did he actually say something there ?

  8. Jeff_Phillips July 18th, 2015 at 10:22

Where is Trump talking about “universal health care”? He’s talking about Medicaid, which has been available to the poor for decades.

  9. Tim Coolio July 18th, 2015 at 19:02

If the GOP was really pro-life the would be anti-war and pro-universal healthcare, but of course they can’t do that since it’s party over the people.
