If Benjamin Netanyahu wants to start a war with Iran, 47% of his country will back him.

Nearly three-quarters of respondents in the poll published by the Maariv newspaper on Friday said they thought the agreement would accelerate Iran’s development of a nuclear weapon, not prevent it as claimed by the powers.

Asked “Do you support independent military action by Israel against Iran if such action is needed to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon?” 47 percent said yes, 35 percent said no and 18 percent expressed no opinion.

Asked: “In your view, does the agreement that was signed bring Iran closer to obtaining a nuclear weapons capability?” 71 percent said yes.

Will Russia and China defend Iran from an unprovoked attack by a warmonger going against the rest of the worlds will? As an American, with a memory, I can’t believe I asked that.

He doesn’t have the finances to do it without the blessing of the US. If the US pulls all funding, that war will dry up wicked fast, and Iran will not forget about it, like the US seemed to forget about the USS Liberty attack.

If it had been any other country in the region, there would have been repercussions.

for once I agree with you. if any other country we support, fund and veto any rebuke had attacked, and killed, without provocation, Americans, a stupid, do whatever you want “friend” there would be consequences but because it’s Israel, the I have no idea why we support those hateful apartheid, war mongers, war criminals, get a free pass. F Israel, we don’t need them, NutandYaho is a Cheney clone who should have been voted out – or removed in any other way, ahole, hateful, warmonger, should not be able to speak. But I would love to watch his war crimes trial

I don’t have a problem with a country’s self-determinism, so long as that country allows people to leave its borders freely (unlike, say, West Germany). That said, whenever a country (like Israel) takes foreign aid from another country (like the US), the country providing aid has every right to put hooks in the money. I don’t mind helping out an ally surrounded by hostile countries (though I think there are better ways to do that than to throw fistfuls of cash at them). I have a problem having said ally use donated money to declare war or make false flag attacks to try and manipulate other countries into war.

Yeah right, enrage Iran and have bombs rain down on the oil tankers and what will that do to the world’s economy?

  7. craig7120 July 17th, 2015 at 12:58

See America, others can start wars on their own.

I just hope we don’t get separation anxiety if or when it happens.

Iran has around 80 million people most are under 30, Israel is a tiny country with no chance of defeating Iran without a lot of help I sure hope bb is smart enough to see that.
