Christie: If We’re Attacked It’s Rand Paul’s Fault

Posted by | July 6, 2015 10:30 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Chris Christie told his pals on Morning Joe that if there’s another terror attack on the United States Rand Paul is responsible.

“What Rand Paul has done to make the country weaker and more vulnerable is a terrible thing,” Christie said, referring to Paul’s opposition to the renewal of the Patriot Act last month. “For him to raise money off it is disgraceful.”

“As the only guy who used the Patriot Act in this race, as a former prosecutor, we’re going to look back on this, and he should be in front of hearings, in front of congress, if there’s another attack. Not the director of the FBI or the director of the CIA.”

Bit of a reach even for Crispy Creme (and I hate Rand)
If we’re attacked, the only one’s responsible will be those who attacked us.

You know you’re on the right track if Christie is against you.

Christie’s main job, if he becomes president, will be to blame everybody else for everything. He’d be perfect. Just look at the kickass job he’s done in attributing guilt to his staff during the GWB lane closing investigations.

I’m happy to blame Rand Paul for a lot of things, but not this one. Christie is trying to distinguish himself as the “national security” candidate. And his, Christie’s, positions are as shallow as Bush II – “Bring ’em on.”
