Twitter Condemns MoJo Regular Harold Ford Jr. Over Confederate Flag Pictures

On Morning Joe, regular panelist and ex-Congressman Harold Ford Jr. managed to ignite a healthy dose of disapproval in the Twittersphere, and it was anger well-placed.

A discussion on the daily three-hour program hosted by a Conservative Republican on ‘liberal’ MSNBC ensued over President Obama’s use of the ‘n word’ in a podcast discussion with comedian Marc Maron.

Scarborough and Ford Jr. were praising South Carolinians over the impressive unity march in Charleston to show solidarity with the families of the victims of the massacre at the AME church on Wednesday night.  Neither addressed the controversy of the Confederate Flag.  Both Congressman Mark Sanford and Governor Nikki Haley appeared on MoJo after the tragedy and defended the decision to fly the flag that is a symbol for slavery and treason.   Keep in mind, it doubles as a  substitute Nazi Flag in Germany, where the displaying of Nazi propaganda is illegal.

It seems Joe Scar and his panel guest who is silent on this important issue are both at the losing end of the Confederate Flag controversy.  Later today, Governor Haley will call  for the removal of the flag at a scheduled press conference.

    This particular flag, and the one that flies in S.Carolina, is “the Stainless Banner”, designed by William T. Thompson, who said of it;

    “As a people we are fighting to maintain the Heaven-ordained supremacy of the white man over the inferior or colored race; a white flag would thus be emblematical of our cause.
