      It takes courage for a Republican to take a stand against the right-wing racist wing of the party. I would bet that a good number of them are Republicans precisely because they consider it to be the anti-Black white supremacist party.

        If he was a declared candidate, I would agree with you.
        As it is, it bears little more relevance than when I publicly announce my convictions that cheese should never be served with fish.
        Braver, maybe, but irrelevant all the same.

    Mitt Romney also called for the removal of the same flag back in 2012 during the primaries. So Mitt deserves credit for being consistent and having integrity on this issue.
