Close GTMO? Nope. Just another charade falsely projecting Bush Jr & Sr’s torture onto BHO.

Sure. The senate votes to ban torture – until the next war when we’ll start it up again, torture/kill more Muslims in the name of freedoms, and then the senate will vote to ban torture – until the next war, etc.. etc.

CIC Obama reinstated the UCMJ pre-GWB ban against Halliburton Cheney fantasies. Torture? Go straight to Leavenworth in shackles.

The UCMJ was pounded into our heads, and that was Vietnam Era. You don’t suppose the Bush / Cheney cabal could have been FAR worse than Nixon do you?

  7. rg9rts June 17th, 2015 at 07:54

Do we still have to listen to them??

And I was so hoping that we could use these methods to get the Congress to get to work and do their jobs.

If they have banned torture isn’t that a testament to the fact torture has been committed. We need an investigation to see who authorized and ordered that torture. What administration, what party, what individual gave the order!…..Issa!

So, admittedly, Torture has been committed by the United States. I am reminded everyday how the “Christians” are honking that this is a “Christian” country. Now, please tell me again what the Christians have been saying about the Muslims”?

Any use of physical or psychological pain, as a method of extracting information, is torture. Anyone who gave the green light for the use of “enhanced interrogation” techniques, unfortunately, is protected from personal criminal liability. However, I think that they should be barred from ever holding a government job, agan.
