Americans Want Congress To Save Obamacare Subsidies

Posted by | June 16, 2015 13:00 | Filed under: Politics

If the Supreme Court puts an end to Obamacare subsidies, 66% want Congress to restore them.

The looming Supreme Court case of King v. Burwell could strike down subsidies that help 6.4 million people in 34 states who use the law’s federal exchange afford insurance. The poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation, which does nonpartisan health analysis, finds that 63 percent think Congress should restore the subsidies in all states if they are invalidated. Just 26 percent think Congress should do nothing.

However, among Republicans, a much higher 49 percent think Congress should do nothing, while only 38 percent think Congress should restore financial help.

A poll done by an insurance company says that Americans want congress to save a govt. program that buys people insurance? I’m shocked! Next a poll from from Anheuser Busch

There’s nothing wrong with helping those less fortunate. As a matter of fact, if you pay taxes, part of that money goes to fund soup kitchens and homeless shelters, so in other words, you’re a good person even if you don’t want to be.

The Kaiser Family Foundation has not been associated with the insurance company since 1985.

Kaiser has always been the most consistently accurate poll of them all.

Can you find a poll that presents different results?

And since the greatest driver of heathcare costs is the uninsured, the better solution would be to cut out the insurance altogether.
Who do you think has BEEN paying for the uninsured???

Funny how the anti-ACA crowd, thinks that government should pay for the R&D, the risks and the losses of private industry, but not help the ‘little’ people get healthcare insurance or help to reduce the costs to providers in uncompensated care.
