Posted by | June 14, 2015 17:00 | Filed under: Politics

Meet the Press host Chuck Todd spent some time talking to the new GOP “king maker” Mitt Romney this Sunday, and after allowing him to toss a bunch of stink bombs at Hillary Clinton on foreign policy with zero push back, Todd asked Romney is he had any advice for this year’s 2016 Republican presidential contenders.…

2/3 of all legacy minorities plus 90% of black voters aren’t ever voting for today’s Republiclans. GOP TV breaks it down.

And Bill would have had a nice comfortable perch far from the front lines, but he still would have bragged about all the battles he was in.

Yet another episode of Chuck Toad throwing softballs at a Republican on “Meet the Republicans.”

Mitt, you know if you had focused on minorities, you would have antagonized them, and given more concrete reasons than just your apathy towards them to not vote for you. So in the end, it wouldn’t have made any difference. The “47%” remark was how you actually felt (and feel) about the great unwashed, and it would have come out eventually.

ARE JU KIDDING MANG? – Mitt Romney could have gotten the darkest tan available and had his name legally changed to Metteo Romriguez and and it wouldn’t have helped. Besides, that 47% routine was like pulling the lever that opens the trap door. Chingao way!

Mitt lost and he doesn’t even know why. Romney had a huge milestone around his neck and that was romneycare. It killed enthusiasm in the base. And lack of enthusiasm translates into undecideds voting Democrat.

    • Larry Schmitt June 14th, 2015 at 18:02

The milestone around his neck? Did it say “20 miles to Cleveland?”

      • fahvel June 15th, 2015 at 03:13

hey, it’s a millstone isn’t it – a milestone is a fine objective I think and the millstone is like an albatross I think. Damned dictionary never translates perfectly.

    • robert June 14th, 2015 at 18:06

a milestone he decided to abandon in Massachusetts and never looked back up until mittens started to look for ways to hide his loot

    • Obewon June 14th, 2015 at 18:34

“The polls are skewed”-Romney delusionals on why no statistically accurate poll ever showed any Repub path to 270 Electoral College votes e.g. 2012’s 51% popular vote (D) 332 to (R) 206 via Mitt’s mere 47% popular vote share.

You’re right, guns, bible, abortion, no healthcare are the topics Americans care about.
Keep believing that, and we kind will bury in elections every time

    • burqa June 14th, 2015 at 19:42

Will you be covering this on the Red Eye Radio Show?

      • fahvel June 15th, 2015 at 03:11

if the 2 parties would stop playing politics and concentrate on providing a good life for all (oops, socialism) they would no longer be lying narcissistic aholes but rather what Conrad Lorenz was waiting for, the humane being.

    • William June 14th, 2015 at 22:53

      Sooooooooo?
*giggle* Romneys millstone was Romneycare, so people instead voted for the author of Obamacare.
      Got it.

    • Chinese Democracy June 15th, 2015 at 02:25

I guess the far right might have been upset about helping others.. But there arent enough t baggers to swing an election. Have you seen Limbaugh’s ratings lately? sigh :)

Everyone knows that the far right will never win a national election. President Ted Cruz aint happenin lol . Why do candidates that could win pander to the far right and ruin their chances? And why do far righties like Santorum run again and again knowing full well they will never win?

” Romney had a huge milestone around his neck…”

Did he leave his millstone at home? With Mrs. Malaprop?

Man was I wrong. I thought his biggest mistake was running.

    • Larry Schmitt June 14th, 2015 at 18:45

Turns out you were right after all.

    • bpollen June 15th, 2015 at 15:31

Everything went downhill after that one decision…

  8. majii June 14th, 2015 at 19:20

Liar. He did focus early on minority voters when he made his 47% remark and claimed that those voting for Barack Obama are doing so because they’re expecting him to “give” them something. I’m a minority group member who voted for Obama, and who has never been on any welfare program, and Romney has no idea how insulted I felt when I discovered what he’d said. This is a common mistake many in the GOP/TP make when they engage in stereotyping and scapegoating. Another one of their favorites is claiming that liberals don’t have jobs. They have yet to learn that disparaging entire groups of individuals don’t endear them to GOP/TP candidates. Since 2009, the GOP/TP has waged a scorched earth policy toward minorities, LGBTQ Americans, women, and all others who dare oppose them, yet, they’re so delusional as to think we should vote for them. In my case, it’ll never happen.

I puke when I hear Rom$ey speaking about the 47% of Americas he despises

  10. William June 14th, 2015 at 22:59

Oh he tried to reach out, he just wasn’t very good at it. If you own a sweatshop in China, a car elevator and a dancing horse it’s a little hard to “blend”
Not to mention that Mitts religion openly discriminated against minorities as late as 1978

    • fahvel June 15th, 2015 at 03:06

makes one think of the very important Larry Rivers.

  11. granpa.usthai June 15th, 2015 at 02:21

    yep.
it pays to solidify the RepubliCON base, that’s for sure.
wouldn’t hurt to say you believe the US Navy has boats that airplanes can fly from -or underwater boats, even if you still believe it ain’t so.
Folks enjoy hearing that we do.
