Alan Keyes Compares Gay Marriage To The Holocaust

Yes, he went there.

Conservative activist Alan Keyes says that Ireland’s decision to approve marriage equality in a national referendum is just as wrong and unjust as “if the people of Germany voted tomorrow to renew the Holocaust.”

“[W]ould the cardinal say the German state is duty-bound to re-open the death camps?” he asks, referring to a Roman Catholic cardinal who said that he would respect the vote. Respecting the marriage equality law, Keyes writes today in WorldNetDaily, is the “kind of spurious legalism” that “helped goose-step Germany into Hell in the last century.”

Ever notice how right wingers love them some democracy but only when they win?

I remember now. Hitler told the German people that, in 2015, we’re gonna have gay marriage, so we have to exterminate the Jews now. Makes perfect republican sense.

Alan Keyes is too stupid to breathe (as is most of the GOP .)

I’m surprised they haven’t “self-holocausted” in some way or another.

Keyes is about as useful as herpes, can’t get rid of him and he keeps coming back.

    For years now, it has been like;
Republicans; “Democrats are Nazis, Stalin, Hitler, and their policies are just like the Holocaust, Slavery, (insert name of other genocides)….”
    Everyone Else; “yawn”.

Uhhh, yeah, sure, I can see that. More excellent analysis by Alan Keyes.

I don’t think he understands how this went down, no one voted to have the Holocaust to begin with, Hitler just kept exploiting the complacency of his government and citizens and the end result was the murder of over 6 million humans. So in that term, we can turn this around, the idiots in our society have become complacent in the last election and were too damn lazy to vote and therefore we ended up with a republican “win”.

    Not even original.

Didn’t Trump say something about being led by stupid people lately? He must have been referring to The Donald, Keyes and the GOP!

    • Larry Schmitt June 5th, 2015 at 16:45

But rear ends can’t lead, can they? The GOP is full of those. Leaders, not so much.

  11. Larry Schmitt June 5th, 2015 at 16:42

Hey, dumba$$. how many millions of people has gay marriage killed? The only way you could compare the two.is if the answer is greater than zero.

And this horror show of a man has a gay daughter. To behave this way?

    What a monster. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_Keyes

I would dearly love to see this man confronted by a true survivor of the Holocaust; preferably in a public place with cameras running. He is ignorant of history and has no idea when he is embarrassing himself.

It’s true, gay marriage is just like the Holocaust….I went to a gay wedding and they were packing the ovens full of straight people, christians, and republicans. I had to kiss another dude just to get out alive.

Good thing this idiot is not in charge of anything.

  15. labman57 June 5th, 2015 at 22:51

    Wow.
So exactly how many people have been put to death as a result of members of the LGBT community attaining the legal right to get married?

  16. AnthonyLook June 6th, 2015 at 00:35

If anything these Republican gas bags are killing me. I’m dying of laughter.

  17. Jeffrey Samuels June 6th, 2015 at 10:30

Wow, how can one man have so little understanding of the Holocaust. He just insulted 6 million or more people, men, women, and children who died because they were ‘different’ from those in power.

This is what comes when an ignoramus cavalierly uses phrases for their emotional punch without understanding what they mean.
