Beck: Texas’s Drought Was Ended By Rick Perry’s 2011 Prayers

Posted by | June 1, 2015 20:00 | Filed under: Politics Religion

Glenn Beck believes the flooding in Texas is because Rick Perry prayed to end the drought in 2011.

Beck said the state of Texas began to work it way out of its drought after Perry prayed for rain back in 2011, which is a position shared by a number of other Religious Right activists.

“We started ending that drought with that fast,” he said. “He was mocked for it and he went ahead and did it and that was the beginning of the end of the drought. We started having rain right after that, and this state was a desert.”

Taking Beck’s logic further, we have very good unemployment figures in Iowa because, six years ago, gay marriage became legal here. And today was sunny and warm.

    Life! Ain’t it great?

Perry better check his connection to god…it took 4 years to get an answer and then it was in the form of Karma to teach Cruz and the other baggers the price of hubris for trying to deny Sandy victims aid

So, according to Glen Beck, Rick Perry is directly responsible for the loss of property and the deaths in Texas. Good to know.

Why didn’t Texas build an arc? NOAA warned them this would happen.
