Of course, his confession came only after the story has been going viral. So now, he’s resigning from the Family Research Council, the entity that tells us how…

“God has forgiven me…”…no she hasn’t.

    • dave-dr-gonzo May 22nd, 2015 at 08:57

She wants you to remove those offending gonads. And “Little Josh” also, for good measure! Cthultha aqbar!

  2. CHOCOL8MILK May 22nd, 2015 at 07:43

LOL the old “God forgiveness” ploy. Most of us saw this one coming.

    • CHOCOL8MILK May 22nd, 2015 at 07:46

Honestly, this stupid God B.S. is ruining our country, the United States. Idiots like this continue to be out and about. So sickening.

      • Hirightnow May 22nd, 2015 at 08:26

Well, they’re trying…I mean, the girls WERE too young to have children…
        (I’ll leave now)

  3. Mainah May 22nd, 2015 at 07:51

It really frosts my ass that people who claim that they know the Bible say shit like that. He knows he will be judged. He can’t speak for God. Now what really upsets me is that he molested some of his own sisters and CPS has not been involved. This guy has kids and CPS is not involved. Wow.

  4. Hirightnow May 22nd, 2015 at 08:25

God may well have forgiven you, Josh.
    But man hasn’t
“Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s”, and all of that.

The Invisible Sky Being is now OK with his Polanskying. How reassuring.

    Learned behaviour from his dad?…

  6. Anomaly 100 May 22nd, 2015 at 09:13

He follows the book of Leviticus when it comes to the gays, so shouldn’t he be put to death?

  7. Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 09:34

God has forgiven me. Well, that makes it all good, doesn’t it? Isn’t that special?

    • EnuffBull May 22nd, 2015 at 09:42

I would like to see that in writing, with God’s signature. And not one of those robo-pen writing robots, dadgummit! God must have an expensive, executive fountain pen.

      • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 09:48

In the movie, he writes with fire. Remember when Moses picked up the Ten Commandments?

        • EnuffBull May 22nd, 2015 at 10:03

          Bic pen… Bic lighter… same diff! :-)

        • William May 22nd, 2015 at 10:50

          It was actually 15 commandments.

I was thinking of a different movie. i wonder what the other 5 commandments were. Oy! You can always count on Mel.

            • Dwendt44 May 22nd, 2015 at 12:05

Don’t rape may have been one of those 15. Don’t fondle your sister wasn’t I don’t think.

          • FatRat May 22nd, 2015 at 14:40

            lol

          • StoneyCurtisll May 22nd, 2015 at 21:57

            Gotta love Mel Brooks~!

      • William May 22nd, 2015 at 10:47

Let me know if he posts the formal pardon. I want to compare signatures.

        • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 11:14

Signed by Chuck Heston, no doubt, God’s BFF.

          • Alan May 22nd, 2015 at 17:20

I thought “signed copy” meant the person who wrote the book. :)

            • Dwendt44 May 22nd, 2015 at 19:52

              Hence the absurdity.

            • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 20:38

God was busy that day, so since Chuck knows him personally, he stood in for him.

  8. William May 22nd, 2015 at 11:01

The punishment should fit the crime, and lead to eternal dangnation.

    • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 11:16

So how do they deal with someone who’s been dead for hundreds of years, and is nothing but a little dust? He can be made whole, but someone with crushed nuts can’t? Doesn’t sound like an all-powerful god to me.

  9. Foundryman May 22nd, 2015 at 11:43

It seems odd God would tell him he forgives him and not say anything to anyone else. How do we know God forgives him? Where is it written? What chapter and verse?
These holy roller child molesting perverts are the lowest of low lifes.

    • Dwendt44 May 22nd, 2015 at 12:02

Which god is he talking about? Mankind has created over 3000 gods since the dawn of history.

    • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 12:15

When people claim that god is talking to them, they’re really only talking to themselves. And of course they hear what they want to hear.

  10. William May 22nd, 2015 at 11:54

I’ve got a busy meme making week ahead of me.

“Our family is like the epitome of conservative values.” — Josh Duggar, March 17, 2012

    • Bunya May 22nd, 2015 at 19:58

Absolutely! And other morally righteous conservatives include:

      David “Diaperman” Vitter,
      Mark “Appalachian trail” Sanford,
Larry “wide stance” Craig – and everybody’s favorite,
      Newt “family values guy” Gingrich

      Am I forgetting anybody?

  12. pinballsdoll May 22nd, 2015 at 12:48

    disgusting, hypocritical piece of crap

  13. Bunya May 22nd, 2015 at 13:56

He’d make a great republican political candidate. His god forgave him, so everything’s okay. Too bad our judicial system doesn’t accept his god’s “forgiveness” as restitution for such disgusting crimes. And he thinks homosexuality is a sin? What an a-hole. The whole family is scum.
    .
Their morally corrupt show should be cancelled immediately. Miserable bags o’ puke.

  14. FatRat May 22nd, 2015 at 14:38

Hmmmm, got a pardon from Jesus. That sounds reasonable. (snark)

I don’t care what they may say, I don’t care what they may do
I don’t care what they may say, Jesus is just alright, oh yeah
    Jesus is just alright

So Josh, if I rape you with a tree stump, till it comes out of your “lips”, your god will forgive me for that? Good to know, please come visit…

  16. Alan May 22nd, 2015 at 17:20

Don’t you people think God is a forgiving God?

    • mea_mark May 22nd, 2015 at 18:09

The process of forgiveness can be complicated. Forgiveness may not always seem like forgiveness. God is hard to define and near impossible to fully understand. Is God Forgiving? — Do we know what God’s forgiveness looks like, or what it would encompass?

God, the universe, is forgiving. Do we understand that forgiveness and how it manifest in the world, very doubtful. We do learn though and therein lies hope.

    • Mainah May 22nd, 2015 at 18:18

Yes God is. For me, to assume God forgave you when you didn’t pay for your “transgressions ” is hubris. To assume that one knows that God has given his grace before judgement is inappropriate. I grew up Catholic but sought out many faiths for my own understanding. It isn’t so much that he says it but the fact that he condemns other people while claiming grace for his own sin.

      • Alan May 22nd, 2015 at 19:06

Maybe God told him he was forgiven, but we can’t know what God is thinking, can we?

        • Mainah May 22nd, 2015 at 19:12

          Just like I can’t know what you’re thinking …

          • mea_mark May 22nd, 2015 at 19:19

I think he has a few minutes to kill and decided to pop in and see what was going on and say a little something. Maybe just hoping he might catch some inspiration that he can use on his show.

            • Mainah May 22nd, 2015 at 19:39

Regardless, my point would be that I can’t presume to “know” what God or anyone’s thinking. I truly think God spoke to many people. Even Jesus said that there are many rooms in my Father’s house. I go now, to prepare a room for us. This is one reason why I believe that God is loving. His house has many rooms.

              • Jake May 23rd, 2015 at 19:53

So is Duggar going to get a room adjoining one occupied by little girls then? Maybe Rush Limbaugh will get one too.

                • Mainah May 24th, 2015 at 07:20

Again, I can not say that I know who gets grace and who doesn’t. I am a woman of faith. My belief or interpretation of Jesus saying God’s house has many rooms was that there was a place for all who receive grace. It’s inclusive of all people’s of many cultures. Just like those who think “Allah” is some different God when, in fact, it’s just a different word for God. People worship in many ways. My pagan friends believe the Spirit is within everything. My First Nation’s friends believe God to be The Great White Spirit. That’s what I mean by God’s house has many rooms. Hope that clears that up for you.

        • mea_mark May 22nd, 2015 at 19:16

Maybe and maybe, with the right drugs, but can we can we recall and share if we do know what God is thinking, if only briefly? Language would probably limit things greatly. Odds are God didn’t tell him a damn thing and he is making stuff up because that is what he thinks he is supposed to do. Sad really.

        • Larry Schmitt May 22nd, 2015 at 20:46

I have serious doubts he’s forgiving when the only thing they’re sorry about is that they were caught.

      • Dwendt44 May 22nd, 2015 at 19:53

The arrogance that assumes ‘I’ve been forgiven’ by a god that may not even exist is what is amazing to me.

        • Mainah May 22nd, 2015 at 20:28

I can agree on the arrogance of his assumption but I can not be objective on the “may not exist” part, for I have a subjective view on the matter.

    • Bunya May 22nd, 2015 at 19:47

Do these people actually think that playing the “God has forgiven me” religious card, is gonna work all the time? I think not. Pretty soon their luck is gonna run out, and I think this is just the start of the bodies that will tumble out of the Duggar closet.

Sure, God is forgiving, but I think people like the Duggar clan is taking advantage of His forgiving nature.

    • StoneyCurtisll May 22nd, 2015 at 21:42

      Come on Alan..
The imaginary “god” forgives those who believe in the imaginary…

    • cecilia May 23rd, 2015 at 21:34

      First, prove god exists

  17. Jake May 23rd, 2015 at 11:17

This “forgiving” god sure is a busy guy – by my reckoning he has forgiven the cathoilics for the crusades, the inquisition, the holocaust and the mass rape of little boys. Now he is also forgiving the evangelicals for their crooked ponzi schemes bilking the elderly and feeble-minded out of millions and for their turning the message of his imaginary son into a gigantic pyramid scheme with Pat Robertson, Mike Huckabee, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker and Billy Graham right at the top.

  18. Chris May 23rd, 2015 at 20:53

According to Leviticus, Josh Duggar should be publicly removed from his family.

Wonder what Super Saint Huckabee has to say about this since he invokes Leviticus seemingly every day.
