He had is own account, but finally there is a White House-issue Twitter account.

  • ‘Hello, Twitter! It’s Barack. Really! Six years in, they’re finally giving me my own account,’ Obama said today from the new @POTUS account
  • Bill Clinton then asked via his own Twitter: ‘Does that username stay with the office? #askingforafriend’
  • Obama used to tweet from the handle @BarackObama through his campaign staff; it’s currently run by the reincarnation of that group
  • The vice president and the first lady have had accounts belonging to the White House for several years – they both welcomed him to Twitter today

    Of course the classy RWNJs have already sent dozens – maybe more by now – of disgusting tweets replete with the ‘n’ word.
