Barbra Streisand’s Dog Bites Flight Attendant
It’s a lot of pressure being the dog of a superstar, as Samantha discovered.
Streisand, 73, was heading from New York City to Washington, D.C. to lobby for funding for the Women’s Heart Alliance when the snafu occurred.
The unidentified flight attendant, who was working on Ron Perelman’s private jet, saw the 12-year-old Coton de Tulear and decided to pet it without showing her hand first — a typical, but not invasive way to get acquainted with new animals.
Samantha’s bite was so severe, the stewardess required stitches.
As any dog owner would be, Streisand was horrified by the incident.
