Vet Loses It: Threatens Valdosta State Flag Protester

Posted by | April 27, 2015 13:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly

This is where a former Playboy model and vet tried to steal a flag from protesters. Now another veteran has lost his cool and threatened a protester.

“If you know my heritage, I guaran-damn-tee you,” the veteran said to the protester, “we’ll set you straight.”

The protestor quickly began talking back to the vet, causing him to become irate.

“Don’t you ever f**king disrespect my flag, do you understand me?” the vet said angrily. “I might go burn one tomorrow,” the protester replied.

“Well, I tell you what motherf**ker,” the vet yelled. “You just try it over my dead body. Do you f**king understand me?”

“What’s up, bro? Hit me, bro,” the protester said.

“I’m not going to hit you,” the vet responded. “I’m not going to waste my energy. Don’t you ever f**king disrespect my flag again. Do you understand me, maggot?” The intense confrontation seemingly ended after a man intervened.

Sorry dude but protesting the flag is covered under the first amendment, freedom of speech section. It might not be cool to do but it’s covered. Instead of being so upset about that why not be even more pissed off about all those that would prefer to fly the stars and bars of the confederacy. They are the real traitors in the mix.

And why not focus on what their protest is about.

It is NOT your flag, it is the flag of OUR country. It is legal to burn it.

I may disagree with their method of protest, but I’d fight to the death to defend their right to do so.

“”Don’t you ever f**king disrespect my flag again”””

As one Vet to another, I have to guess and give you a benefit of the doubt here, by “MY FLAG” you mean the one hanging at your house? or maybe on your jacket? then yes you have a cause to disrespect there freedoms, as that would be your personal property, cause sorry to say that protester has the right/freedom to say that. once again as a Vet i swore i would do ever thing i could to make it so they have that freedom.

    This We`ll Defend

I remember back in the 70’s, judges were sending people to prison for stuff like wearing a flag patch on the back pants pocket. I try to understand the thought process involved in this fetishism but just cannot. The flag is just a symbol. It is NOT a living thing. It is just objectively wrong to make it such an icon that people we view as disrespecting it are harmed.

If the flag protestor is a US citizen, it’s equally the protestor’s flag as well and he can do with it what he wants. If you are indeed a veteran, you fought for his right to protest…you didn’t fight for nor gain through your service the right to tell him what to do.

I think you all are missing the point. It’s really not about the person’s right to stomp on our flag (like the idiot that he is), it is that American’s are more and more adopting a Hate-America-First attitude. As a veteran who served so that these idiots would have the right to do stupid shit like burn our flag, I am asking you politely to leave our country if you don’t like it. Stop trying to divide us and just leave. You don’t belong here, obviously.
