Jenner: I’m A Republican And A Christian
One has to wonder how many Republicans and Christians were thrilled to hear that Bruce Jenner is one of them.
When asked about Barack Obama addressing LGBT rights in his State of the Union, the 65-year-old former Olympic athlete said that didn’t affect him much.
“I’ve always been more on the conservative side,” Jenner said.
Sawyer, looking shocked, asked if he identifies as a Republican, to which Jenner answered, “Yes.”
Jenner said he is a Christian as well.
“I would sit in church and always wonder, ‘In God’s eyes, how does he see me?’”
But now, he said, he’s realized that maybe this is part of his purpose.
“Maybe this is my cause in life.”
“This is why God put me on this earth…to deal with this issue.”

Clever move, Bruce. Or whatever you’re calling yourself now (what IS she calling herself, did anyone hear?). They’ll trot her out in an early afternoon time slot on the first day of CPAC (when people are still arriving and those there are napping from lunch) and let her make a speech about what a Big Tent the Republican Party has, thus “proving wrong” the “liberal-MSM myth” of a “war on women” and an “anti-gay” GOP.

Eh, check back in a few months when Jenner’s been presenting full time as a woman and dealing head on with all the bathroom and fitting room bullshit the republicans keep trying to pull. Heck, check back after the entire GOP presidential field starts quoting Deuteronomy in Jenner’s direction.
