Here’s The ‘But I Didn’t Inhale’ Of The 2016 Election

Today thanks to Scott Walker, we learn the new conjuring words that GOP 2016 Goat Rodeo contenders thinks will allow them to remain in the good graces of the theocrats AND appeal to The Yutes of Today:

“That’s certainly a personal issue. For a family member, Tonette and I and our family have already had a family member who’s had a reception. I haven’t been at a wedding.

Bet he didn’t show up with a present, and he drank the good vodka at the reception.

Let’s compare republicans to the Taliban shall we?

    The Republicans:
    #1 Conservative Christians
#2 Religious fanatics (look at the presidential candidates they presented)
#3 Want to seriously limit the freedoms of women (till nothing is left ?)
#4 Oppose equality for man and woman. (oppose equal pay for women)
#5 Want to redefine RAPE so it can be blamed more to the woman
#6 Are in favor of a theocracy

    The Taliban:
    #1 Conservative Muslims
#2 Religious fanatics (speaks for itself)
#3 Want to seriously limit the freedoms of women (till nothing is left ?)
#4 Oppose equality for man and woman. (oppose education for women)
#5 RAPE is always blamed on the woman
#6 Are in favor of a theocracy

well if it wasn’t for the wholesale destruction of ancient archaeological treasures. and beheadings on the beach. It would be pretty close.

I guess extremists are extremists no matter what religion color etc

I’m sure some of them self-professed Christians would be more than happy to relieve a few Muslims of their heads.

The rabid right in the U.S. just assume the historic treasures in this country are supportive of their thinking.

The American Religious Right may not take sledgehammers to “pagan” artifacts but they are systematically erasing non-Christians from American history.

Graduates of conservative Christian private schools and home schools believe that Christianity solely invented American democracy. They believe it all came from the Bible.

No mention of the Greek, Roman or Native American systems of democracy that inspired our founding fathers and mothers.

#7 Feel persecuted as they are persecuting others
      #8 Love guns
#9 Have no gays among them (wink, wink)
      #10 Oppose public schools
#11 Get their science from the Bible/Qur’an
      #12 Hate liberals

There really is no defense for being against gay marriage other than being mean spirited and hateful. Gays threaten no one when they marry each other.
Quoting 2 lines from a 2k year old book of myths can hardly be called a reason unless you include the hundreds of other things outlawed in Leviticus….

you’d think he would be out protesting Red Lobster … but noooo

      Deuteronomy 14:9-10 says:
These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

I’m still waiting for the statistical data that supports the wholesale ruination and destruction of the States that have legalized gay marriage.

“That’s certainly a personal issue. For a family member, Tonette and I and our family have already had a family member who’s had a reception. I haven’t been at a wedding.”
    .
Could it be maybe he and Tonette haven’t been invited to the reception?

    • Dwendt44 April 20th, 2015 at 17:48

I wouldn’t want them at any function of my family.

“Here’s The ‘But I Didn’t Inhale’ Of The 2016 Election” So far. Lots of time left, and lots of idiots on both sides. This will not be the worst thing someone will say. Few things in this world are a sure bet, but this is one.

    • Mike April 20th, 2015 at 20:20

We’ll both be disappointed if this is the worst…:)

  8. Mike April 20th, 2015 at 20:20

What is wrong with reporters today, are they afraid to ask a question…???

If you won’t attend a gay wedding, would you attend a Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, or Native American, wedding???. C’mon, your god has got to hate you wishing people well that he basically is condemning to an eternity in hell.

If you’re a Baptist would you attend some kids Catholic Confirmation??? A Jewish kids Bar Mitzvah…??? How about a Sioux or Isnati coming-of-age ceremony (My sister went through one back in 66) It was a pretty big deal.

Attending any of the above ceremonies is in direct violation of the Book of Leviticus…Are you saying none of these people ever attended a ceremony outside their religious circle…???

Look at that expression, that gaping pie-hole… I don’t know what he’s smoking, but that certainly should be illegal!

    Happy 420 Everyone.

“…Tonette and I and our family have already had a family member who’s had a reception. I haven’t been at a wedding.”” – so are we’re supposed to assume that he (and maybe Tonette too) have attended a gay wedding reception?…. why didn’t he say that? are we really supposed to give a good goddamn about anything he, or any of his ilk, come up with?
Sanders/Warren or Grayson or Teachout or Stein or Wiliamson or… …2016!!!
