Ted Cruz: Gay ‘Jihad’ Against Religious People

Posted by | April 10, 2015 17:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

Ted Cruz is working Iowa hand playing to the far, far right.

Cruz, speaking at a panel moderated by conservative talk show host Steve Deace, who regularly castigates the “Rainbow Jihad,” told the crowd of homeschooling activists that they should fear “the jihad that is being waged right now in Indiana and Arkansas, going after people of faith who respect the biblical teaching that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.”

By condemning this gay “jihad,” Cruz said, he could “bring people together” to defend religious freedom.

Other likely candidates present at the forum included Gov. Bobby Jindal and past Iowa caucus victors former Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Sen. Rick Santorum.

And none of these people will be the nominee.

Glad to see that Teddy has decided to become more rational and tone down his usual inflammatory rhetoric.

“Rainbow Jihad”, I think that is thinly veiled threat aimed towards Kermit the Frog.

F*** Cruz and all his ilk!

Cruz has got to put on a show for his base full of haters, bigots and racists. Anything to get the attention ya know and their vote.

Eh, what does the bible know? It can’t even count: “All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be regarded as unclean by you.”

    • Kick Frenzy April 10th, 2015 at 19:26

Sorry to say it, but there are four legged insects.
      For instance, butterflies.

But I’m guessing for grasshoppers, locusts, and so on that the front two legs may be considered to be arms in that instance.
At least, that’s the only thing that makes sense to me.

Can we send him to Iraq so he can see first hand what a Jihad actually looks like?

    • Larry Schmitt April 10th, 2015 at 20:26

No, he wants to send your kids.

      • Suzanne McFly April 10th, 2015 at 20:39

My kids have four paws and could not sign up, but they would be adorable in a uniform. I am still happy that no one has to send their babies to war President Cruz started, because that POS will never be elected.

        • Larry Schmitt April 10th, 2015 at 20:44

If you have nephews or nieces, or friends with kids, he wants to send them. And if he could figure a way to send your pets, he’d do that too. Anything but going himself or sending his kids. That’s what hawks do.

          • Suzanne McFly April 11th, 2015 at 09:37

I know what these chicken hawks do and that is another major reason I am a proud Democrat.

    • burqa April 10th, 2015 at 20:48

If that can be managed, and he takes a gun, I’ll volunteer to sneak in and swap out his ammo for blanks…

Cruz is obviously serious about winning the GOP nomination in 2016, and for this bit of idiocy has vaulted back into the top 20 in the Right Wing Dunce Contest. One must win the RWDC to get the nomination, and Cruz is going to have to be far more styupid to win, but I think he’s got a good shot at pulling it off!

Let’s go to the Right Wing Dunce Contest leaderboard for an update!:

    1) Michele Bachmann
    2) Mitt Romney
    3) Nyewt Gingrich
    4) greasy-haired Rand Paul
    5) Steven King

    6) Sarah Palin
    7) Rick Santorum
    8) Donald Trump
    9) Peter King
    10) Rooty Giuliani

    11) Herm Cain
    12) Christine O’ Donnell
    13) Louis Gohmert
    14) Paul Ryan
    15) Joe (not the musician) Walsh

    16) Ben Carson
    17) Ted Cruz
    18) Eric Cantor
    19) Tim Pawlenty
    20) Allen West

Cruz should count himself lucky there isn’t a jihad against evil, lying sacks of s#$%.

  9. fancypants April 11th, 2015 at 05:42

    To the 2016 election moderators,
Please ask ted exactly what “Rainbow Jihad,” means ? and elaborate on its definition.

    Thank you

    • FatRat April 11th, 2015 at 13:11

I want to hear his detailed elaboration, it will be surreal and wonderful experience to behold.

      • fancypants April 11th, 2015 at 17:55

agreed.. it’s like dropping a baby grand piano off the top of a building. You wont believe your ears.
