‘Shark Tank’ Star Considered Suicide
Click here for reuse options!“Shark Tank” cast member Robert Herjavec says he contemplated suicide last year after his marriage to Diane Plese crashed — and his three kids wouldn’t talk to him.
“I’ve always thought that there is nothing that can rock my world, but I woke up one night and wanted to end it,” Herjavec, 51, tells People magazine (the new issue hits New York newsstands Wednesday). “All I could think was, ‘I can’t go on … I will not survive until tomorrow.’ ”
Herjavec, who’s hoofing it on this season’s “Dancing With the Stars” — and is reportedly worth $100 million — says he pulled himself out of his funk by working at a Seattle homeless shelter.

Good for him for speaking up. I realize it’s not popular to display any sign of weakness but we need to be openly discussing mental health issues, not hiding them.
