‘Shark Tank’ Star Considered Suicide

All the money in the world means nothing.

“Shark Tank” cast member Robert Herjavec says he contemplated suicide last year after his marriage to Diane Plese crashed — and his three kids wouldn’t talk to him.

“I’ve always thought that there is nothing that can rock my world, but I woke up one night and wanted to end it,” Herjavec, 51, tells People magazine (the new issue hits New York newsstands Wednesday). “All I could think was, ‘I can’t go on … I will not survive until tomorrow.’ ”

Herjavec, who’s hoofing it on this season’s “Dancing With the Stars” — and is reportedly worth $100 million — says he pulled himself out of his funk by working at a Seattle homeless shelter.

Good for him for speaking up. I realize it’s not popular to display any sign of weakness but we need to be openly discussing mental health issues, not hiding them.
