Boehner Expected To Launch Hillary Investigation

Posted by | March 15, 2015 21:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

This won’t seem at all like a political witch hunt by Republicans against a Democratic presidential candidate.

House Speaker John Boehner is expected to announce this week a new investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email practices as Secretary of State, including her admission that more than 31,000 emails were destroyed because she determined them to be personal, top House Republicans told ABC News today…

Democratic strategist and Clinton ally James Carville, speaking on “This Week,” said he suspected the former First Lady “didn’t want [Rep.] Louis Gohmert rifling through her e-mails,” and added the controversy “amounts to nothing but a bunch of people flapping their jaws about nothing.”

      when you’ve got nothing else.

      • William March 15th, 2015 at 21:20

I bet this latest Boehner debacle is just as interesting as the “Lawsuit”

        • whatthe46 March 15th, 2015 at 21:23

this too will make him look just as stupid as everything else he attempts to do.

          • William March 15th, 2015 at 21:37

You would think that a congress whose approval rating hovers in the single digits would maybe try just once to..um, I dunno, do something crazy, like uh? Govern?
Nope, IRS, Benghazi, nothing. Tales of 200 million dollar Obama vacations, death panels, FEMA camps, Obama-phones, all absolute BS, and yet they just keep trying to see if something sticks.

you’re absolutely right. they haven’t done anything productive. all while trying to destroy our president, our president continues to ride strong and they can’t touch him.

The beauty of that pic is that “Turd Waffle” sounds so much like a Lewis Carroll term….

evidently none of them eat at a BBQ House?

may not be a big deal for a GOP Congress, but just wait till they start K-1!

        • burqa March 15th, 2015 at 21:37

          Good point.
Which reminds me, whatever happened to that lawsuit Rand Paul said he was going to file?

          • William March 15th, 2015 at 21:40

            “I’M suing you”.
The cry of the truly butthurt.

i cannot wait to use that one. GREAT william

They can’t take their eyes off of Hillary’s boner.

Here comes another waste of time and money to make the GOP legislature look like they’re doing something.

    • b alley March 15th, 2015 at 21:37

I’m sure he’s doing this for Obama and Jarrett.

  3. StoneyCurtisll March 15th, 2015 at 21:59

Boehner to erect a new manufactured investigation…

  4. StoneyCurtisll March 15th, 2015 at 22:03

I thought the GOP were against frivolous law suits and governmental over reach..
    Maybe I misunderstood them…
    No??

  5. olcurmudgeon March 15th, 2015 at 22:17

So now the GOP will be using taxpayer funds for their smear campaign while calling it an investigation

    • William March 15th, 2015 at 22:43

It’s a good strategy really. While the GOP is busy with lawsuit bluster, phony scandal investigations and voting to repeal the ACA…..what, 56 times? (I lost count). The adults can continue to clean up their mess and restore the country. It’s like giving a 4 year old a Handy Manny tool playset so he doesn’t go out to the garage, and hurt himself with real tools

This is the exact reason why the Dems CANNOT let the letter to Iran die!….That letter is ten times bigger deal than Hillary’s email.

    • whatthe46 March 15th, 2015 at 22:40

      exactly!!!!

    • StoneyCurtisll March 15th, 2015 at 22:41

The Gang of 47 cannot be allowed to walk away from this~!

    • jybarz March 15th, 2015 at 22:53

Yes, the letter alone would nail them down amazingly good if Dems have the gumption to follow through. I hope Dems do it soon while it’s still a very hot issue.

    • Pilotshark March 16th, 2015 at 12:24

well at least 20 of the 47 are up for reelection in 2016.
this letter should be used against them.

lets see Rubio and Paul signed, guess they had to show their presidential chops, by showing how slow they are on constitutional and laws.

but wait if its not craze enough we can though in Gov. Opps Perry and kockroach Walker wanting to add their names to the letter.

    • Bunya March 16th, 2015 at 13:52

Don’t count on it. I’m still waiting for the Bush administration to be held accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

  7. jybarz March 15th, 2015 at 22:47

How many scandals GOP has to fabricate to succeed. The score card is still ZERO.
Einstein (?): “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.
A boring and annoying broken record comes to mind.

And yet with each election, since America got a good look at the Obama/Reid/Pelosi train wreck, there are fewer and fewer Dims in office at the federal and state level. Go figure..

  8. StoneyCurtisll March 15th, 2015 at 22:54

The GOP are involved in a smear campaign and power struggle with President Obama..
This has been going on for years..

In China the same thing was going on with their leadership near the end of the cultural revolution..
The gang of four, (yes only four of them)

They were put on trial in the early 80’s, found guilty and executed..
Why is our ‘just-us’ system so sluggish and neutered?
Sometimes I wish the right wing lunatics were right about Obama being a ‘dictator”..

All this foolishness would come to a screeching halt.

So obsessed the gop is with Ms Clinton, they’re gonna hand her the keys to the white house.
Two weeks ago the dems were worried shes not gonna be battled tested with no primary challenge, well thank you gop.

    OCD! Obsessed Clinton Disorder

She plays them like a cat plays with a mouse right before its demise.
