Scott Walker: ‘I Don’t Know’ If Obama Is A Christian

Posted by | February 22, 2015 09:30 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Religion Top Stories

Scott Walker is obviously playing by the far right-wing songbook, and appealing to low information voters, and it’s a shame. Anomaly at Freak Out Nation:

On Saturday the Wisconsin Governor also said that he doesn’t know whether President Obama is a Christian. It’s as if he’s playing to the extreme right, who without cause, insist that Obama is a Muslim.

“I don’t know,” Walker said in an interview at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, where he was attending the winter meeting of the National Governors Association, the Washington Post reports.

Even after Walker was told that Obama has frequently spoken publicly about his Christian faith, he maintained that he was not aware of the president’s religion.

“I’ve actually never talked about it or I haven’t read about that,” Walker said. “I’ve never asked him that,” he added. “You’ve asked me to make statements about people that I haven’t had a conversation with about that. How [could] I say if I know either of you are a Christian?”

He may want to claim he does not believe President Obama speaks the truth, but I am happy to claim walker is a complete ass and he is simply pandering to other soulless asses who also have no morals like him.

It’s easy to play this stupid game for stupid people…..like I said before, I don’t know if Scott Walker is a rapist and child molester, or just an abusive husband. See how easily it’s done?
Just another rightwing pandering asshat who hasn’t the intellect to discuss policy or current issues facing our country.

…I’m not sure if he pulls wings off of butterflies or kicks puppies, either. ..

It could be, he certainly knows not to push things to far, almost like it is part of a job requirement. I doubt it though.

do you really want to discuss “people dying on someones watch?” correct me if i’m wrong, but when was she ever president?

        • bluejayray February 23rd, 2015 at 11:43

To discuss people dying on someone’s watch, we’d need to talk about GW and Giuliani a lot, and I’m just not up to it today…

Is anyone in the gop considering a strategy that includes anyone other than a fundamentalist of the xtian faith?
What’s with this xtian and his judgement of others? Tsk tsk
They do make it easy to disqualify themselves from a consideration of a general election vote.

Hey Scott, what magazines or newspapers do you read?

Walker is not ready for prime time, hence his reluctance to defend his point of view on a variety of issues, nor take a stand on simple questions that might put his allegiance to conservative extremists in doubt.

isthis tactic or is he actually a mean spirited moron. The latter seems to be dominant. You have a lot of them there in the land of the free and the brave and none of them propose freedom or heroism.

    • bluejayray February 23rd, 2015 at 11:41

Thank you. I’d prefer a President who was not religious at all and would not attend the National Prayer Breakfast (what a waste of human effort) and who would not end every speech with “god bless America”.

No, he shouldn’t be disqualified from running for President as Hillary shouldn’t be either for all her nefarious dealings. Let the people decide!

      • whatthe46 February 22nd, 2015 at 19:34

and the people will decide we don’t want a repub in office! they are not mentally stable enough to run this country. they are liars, theives, and bat guano crazy. they have no agendas to speak of except to take care of their own. it is clear and has been noted that they do NOT love all of America’s citizens. only a chosen few.

        • John Tarter February 22nd, 2015 at 20:13

We shall see. As we speak a new Hillary scandal is brewing with the Clinton Foundation again accepting money from foreign governments. A pure conflict of interest as there ever was. Enough of the Clintons!

          • whatthe46 February 22nd, 2015 at 22:27

its only a scandal in the minds of the GOP. the money is not for her personally it is for the foundation which is a charity. “When Hillary Clinton left her job as secretary of state, the Clinton Foundation lifted its ban on donations from foreign governments. The ban was reportedly first put in place at the request of the Obama administration, which wanted to alleviate any possible conflicts of interest with its new secretary of state.” now that she is no longer the secretary of state the ban was lifted. again, you need to do more reading in order to educate yourself. there’s nothing there and never was. besides that, you wouldn’t know what charity means nor would the RWNJ’s if sat in your face.

Along with the other one this was just a gotcha question by the liberal media that Dem politicians don’t get asked. That said, he should have been prepared and answered :”President Obama says he is a Christian and I take him at his word” That’s it, end of story.
