Art Garfunkel’s Apartment Catches Fire
Firefighters got the flames under control at the “Bridge Over Troubled Water” singer’s multi-million-dollar pad at 1:27 p.m., Fire Department sources said.
It was not clear if the 73-year-old Queens native, who shot to superstardom as one half of the clap-happy singing duo with partner Paul Simon, was home at the time of the fire.
